A fantastic wrap up of an epic ride! I had an absolute blast! Daryl Beattie Adventures runs a top notch show, and what a great bunch of guys to experience it with. A true pleasure!
Amazing ride Guys the CRF450s are definitely a good weapon of choice. Love the narrator he's a Champion his production skills are really good and interesting the flies like him as well 😉😅😅😅😅all kinds of characters go out in the scrub eh 😅 wish I could afford a supported trip through the Simpson maybe 1 day it's the only way to fly
I get anxiety everytime I watch a ride in sand. My last ride on a dirt bike was a 75km loop on the of the big desert near Jeparit with deep whoops as far as you could see. It broke me mentally after never been a sand “expert” and I sold my bike the following week. I'll just stick to road & track 👍 Great vid 👍
Brilliant video! You did the land, its people and Darryl Beattie Adventures a massive service! I spent half my childhoood up the road in Darwin and having been here in Europe the last few years, this video was pulling at the heart strings a LOT. 🙂 Really looking forward to doing that ride. FYI - bucket list includes Kimberleys and Africa (a lot of it anyway) and North America. I'll be happy to do those...keep up the great work.!!
Great video as always 👍 here in Scotland, we have midges and deal with them with head nets, your probably aware of them, but I have to wonder why you're not using one 😅😅
Fantastic vid Damo! I was out there too last month just after all that rain, and it was an unforgettable and breathtaking experience! (Nothing to do with my lack of fitness, BTW!) Watching your adventures just makes me want to get back out there again! Thanks for putting up such an enjoyable and informative vid. Cheers and all the best, Grant. 🍻👍
Awesome video Damo, I love your content, one of my favorite. 2nd desert vid you’ve done…my wife was like ‘that looks so boring just endless desert tracks…I was like ‘no babe that looks awesome just endless desert tracks’. It’s a little voice in my head now mate…fuck Bali go see Australia!
Great video and 26:29 yes I have seen a bright light shoot across and instantly make a 90 degree turn and did id a few more times faster than anything possibly can still in shock. Believe it or not
@advlife In a year or two I am going to have to go to Australia and do some riding and motocamping not sure which way is better purchase a bike there and sell it when I leave or what I have not looked into but I have time.
Damo another crackn vid and to answer your question where is your dream ride? Everywhere is unique and awesome the fact we are all still riding is the dream. Ride safe
@silveriojohan I know! Murray has just been sitting there watching tests bikes come and go. I have a plan to take him out on a couple of routes soon. Gotta show him some love for sure.
Sand.... I learnt to just go, in the attack position, pull back equally on the bars and do not let the front wheel dig in, keep it on the rear. Also, I hate sand. Like nothing else. EDIT: No, really. Fk sand. Riding fitness really hit me, eternal mini squats and grip / forearm strength took their toll. But I'd do this organised ride in a heartbeat : )

I 100% believe it mate. Some weird stuff going on out there. We saw those same lights again when we did the Canning Stock Route a few months later

That looks like a mad trip!
Whats the cost of one these Daryl Beattie tours?
If its not the cost of a 300 Rally, I'm intrigued 😄
The rabbit kept many families with food on the table during the great depression.
Bahli mate always wanted to ride to Bahli 👋🤠👍
Epic 🤗
What type of bikes are there in this video? Thank you
Honda CRF450RL with larger fuel tanks.
He thinks about coming over a dune and bumping into a camel. I'm thinking of a scene from Police Acadamy.
lol, Fuck Bali. Love it.
Amazing scenery, where is the Africa Twin???
No ATs on this tour. Daz uses the CRF450RL and Transalp for tours now.
@@advlife I wonder where is your own Africa twin?, long time no see her🤣🤣🤣

Just curious, have the Honda's fixed their burnt valve problem?
Wasn't that like 10 years ago or more on the 250X?
i think Darryl beatie Csr ride would be epic
Coming up in a few months 👍🏻
