Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! UA-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the limited edition 2014 Ford F-150 FX4 Tremor.

During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

twin turbo ecoboost does not disappoint. don't underestimate it because it's not a V8
I would never buy a V6 truck. As time goes on V8 fuel mileage has increased to a much more acceptable standard. It can only get better. I understand for economy reasons why many prefer a V6 option, but I want as much factory performance as I can get. I'm a Chevy guy, but I will admit that the F150 does has some features I wished the 1500 Silverado had. All comes down to your preference.

my favorite thing about these video's its all about the truck/car as it is and goes into detail on its reason for being built, and what makes its different from other's in it's class. he doesn't bash the cars just points out what makes them good. but does point out small flaws that people would miss just looking at one.
I'm willing to bet Kyle has been offered some lucrative salesmen spots... If I owned a dealership I wouldn't hesitate to hire him.
He studied pharamcy, i guess thats more lucrative than being a salesman.

No, two-door only for the Tremor. The whole point was a short-cab, short-bed pickup...like how they used to be before pickups suddenly became sedans with 6' beds. Having owned a supercrew-cab F150 and a super-cab Raptor, then test-driving one of these, I can say that the shorter footprint is definitely the way to go here. It's quick and surprisingly nimble for a pickup, which again, was the whole point.

I remember this video from when I bought one of these. It was a really nice trouble free truck and I felt it was well worth the $43k I paid for it. I'm planning on a 22 Tremor and the price now is around $72k.

This is the Ford F-150 FX4 Tremor. A 2dr Pickup Truck that has a lot of power and torque from the V6 engine and Automatic Transmission.
That is a cool truck but can you a video with a 2015 Ford F-150 cause I haven't seen one
The vehicle looks good but the v6 will never sound better than a v8 even with a couple of turbochargers. I think it's better of in the Explorer

Ford should put a V8 in this truck. For that price, it should have a twin-turbo V8. The Navigator should have a twin-turbo V8.

Ford had a single cab Fx4 model in '04-'05 I remember. It had buckets and a full center console like this one.
The truck is Great, looks bad ass! HP Numbers are also good but THAT V6 EXHAUST IS A JOKE. Nothing will ever beat a V8 Exhaust tone...

Well, as long as CAFE standards are alive, ford is going to continue on its path to murder the v8. Its a shame that Chrysler seems to be going down that route as well. Luckily, GM cannot kill the v8 because thats what they are known for

In my opinion I think 2-door pickups is old school now, 4 door pickups are the new thing now its more practical and can fit more people
You want practical? Buy a 4-door model.
I don't care if they're next to useless in practicality terms, sports trucks are cool. Screw lifted long box crew cabs, give me a 2 door short box with a nice engine and I'll have more fun.
its obvious that regular cabs are not out of production and its not just an old school thing its the original thing of the truck production line but if you are worried about riding more people I love to be one of those people who rides on the back of the pick up bed and feel that breezing wind

You think this will outlast a Hi-Lux/Tacoma or is built better? Not by a long shot. Just look at the uneven gaps and listen to how the doors sound ect. Horrid. The interior looks like crap too. Camaro's from the mid '80's had nicer interiors.

This truck evokes memories of the Chevrolet 454SS pickup. A 2-door, short box performance truck tuned for the STREET.
Sadly, this Ford falls short. Would be cool to see GM come up with such a reincarnation.

That is one cool looking truck. But my god the price for it? Then again you also have to understand it is fully loaded so explains why the price sky rockets. Look at what you can get from Ram for that coin. A full spec Ram Sport 4x4 Reg cab is 41k, this is 46k. I fail to see why anyone would even consider this. An Express black is about 33k with a few nice extras.

Thomas Devito "Still"? I never said otherwise - I hate Fuurrrds. The Fix Or Repair Daily is ridiculously expensive, and to me, it's butt ugly as well.
I like to get to my destination without issue, that's why we use a Ram Cummins to haul our toys. The Ram's also only a truck, but it's a nice one at that.
If it had the 6.2 in it, I would really be interested....

I would definitely consider getting one of these. I'd take out the 4.10's and put in 3.73's. Then I'd tune it up to 450+hp and 500ish lb/ft of torque. Of course for 45 grand, they're out of their minds. Maybe 36-37k loaded.

ABOlsen69666 Yes. Increasing the max power of a vehicle, especially turbocharged, doesn't necessarily hurt gas mileage. Increasing the horsepower and torque when full throttle will mean that you won't need as aggressive a gear to get moving. Plus that gear will allow for better highway MPG.
