Nice rig! I actually saw you building your first rig on Mike Kings Bussy McBusface UA-cam channel, but it was only a shell when I last saw it. The interior turned out really nice. It would look awesome if you also made a rig using a deuce-and-a-half military truck, but perhaps that might be challenge to drive, let alone the 2mpg you’d probably get. Maybe an OshKosh would be more practical? It’s really great to see that you made your dream happen. I wish you great success with your company!!

One thing, I think a lot of designers miss is those acrylic windows. I thought they were great then I realize they scratch VERY easy. If I have a vehicle like this I am going up forest roads and the sides (and top) are going to run along trees/brush and those windows will never look good again. Im not super happy with the frame or weight of the glass windows I have now but they're clear and scratchless.
I'd love to see one of these made specifically for traveling n hunting up the Appalachian trail. This is cool for site seeing with the wife, but I'd love to see one made for "utility"....

Humvee surplus from the military runs only $1-10k and can are basically blank canvases for this kinda stuff, give it love and maybe $10-20k and you've got the same thing he's got here on a budget

So.... short answer... no. Long answer.... I created a system for the tile install which has stood the test of many a BLM road on the busses and vans I have installed tile in. This rig has seen some really hard road since this interview.... not a crack & will do great for years to come.

It's 8700lbs dry. So VERY light considering.... and it wheels INCREDIBLY well !!!
