That’s an awesome looking H1. You’ve done well in doing it up. I have a 97.5 soft top. Can highly recommend if you have not done it yet. Is get rid of the electrical fuel injection pump and replace it with the mechanical one. Just wish someone would of told me this 10 years ago. When I first got my truck. Your truck will never break down from a PMD electrical problem again. Good luck
While I agree that getting rid of the electrical lift pump is a good idea because they're super unreliable - the mechanical pump is a bit underspec'd for the DS4. The DB2 injection pump only needed 4-8psi but the DS4 needs 12-15psi. GM won't admit to that but thats what they need. I have the mechanical pump on my truck (had them on both my H1's) and I'm in the process of switching over to the Raptor so I can get that 14psi.
To get that tire up I’d use the winch and wrap it around to roof rack. Let the winch roll it over the front. Front bar sticks over the front windshield so probably won’t crack it

I miss the LineX paint on my old H1. Nice build - been thinking of getting the MM lift springs myself. Only thing I can't endorse are the wheels - they're not the proper offset and they are murdering your balls joints and putting extra stress on the spindle lock nuts.
This isn't the kind of off-road vehicle that will compete with JEEP and Toyota, it's an excellent overlander. It has tons of room and carrying capacity and can take you to where you want to go. If you want to go up and down narrow trails this vehicle isn't it. Pretty cool H1.
For what these cost I would buy a Jeep and mod it I pretty sure it will go the same places portal axles or not....the hummer does look awesome though no doubt about it

Two years ago we had a big snow. All the Jeeps were getting stuck in the snow. My H1 went through it like a hot knife through butter.
