- In May 2015 I was lucky enough to be invited to the city Bacău in Romania. Going there I decided to make this short video about the city and the people I met. I was not able to film so much I know, but hope this short glimpse will be enjoyed.
My name is Sebastian Graça da Silva (which is to long, hence why Mr GdS) and I am a British/Portuguese expat living in Bali, Indonesia. Being away from my family and friends I decided to make a video blog about my life here to share with them and any one else interested.
I aim to publish videos about my travels as and when they happen. So far I have traveled to over 60 countries world wide and continue to do so. I now wanted to share some of my travels with others. I hope you will enjoy some of the different places I go.

I remember being in that store with that exact milk machine and when I saw it, I told my friend "Hey, there is that milk machine that I saw in the video!" When I was there, it was also the same time that the club caught on fire and all those people died there. Then the whole country was outraged and there were candles everywhere. That was when they also removed smoking inside public places. So much happened to the country in that short amount of time. Thank you so very much for this video, it brought back some good memories and emotions. I will be back again once the pandemic is over.
Brasov was nice but Bacau is so much better. I've been here since October and next week I go back to America but I will be back before next summer and stay much longer.
Good evening I was born in Bacau, famous for George Enescu airport. Wondering if you can tell me for sure which airlines have been traveling in the last 80's? (86-89) as charters and cargo flights. Same information also in the 90s. By airlines I mean Alitalia Italian airline, Lufthansa, Air France etc.
@@alinasimoncini3604 I flew British Airways all the way there and back, I'm not sure which other ones are flying. A Google search should give that answer. My favorite place to eat there is Hamlet. I hope you're safe there during this whole virus thing.
For sure there were so many things to see and do and so many ways to tell a story. I'm not from here so was just a visiter, so only got a glimpse of the city. There were many nice parts and I really liked the view from the hill and the big lake, but the reality was I ran out of time and wished I filmed them too. I was lucky to have a few friends who showed me what they liked about the city. For me in any city the building and nature are one thing, but what I think makes a city are the people. I was also in Brasov which is a beautiful city, but I did not feel the same energy as I did in Bacau. Filming was really great and people really got involved from the market sellers to the guys in the swimming pool. I look forward to coming back. Thanks for all the support on the video. I know it wont appeal to all, but you can't please all. I tried.

Hi@@alinasimoncini3604. Thanks for your comment although I am not sure I understand your question. You are asking about airlines that travel to Bacau in the 80's and 90's. Honestly, I don't know about that.
I am going to Bacau in about a month for 6 weeks and I can not wait! Thanks for making this video.

Nu stiu ce e acolo.
Păcat că a trebuit să vadă doar Bacăul, e un oraş urât, dacă tot ajunsese prin Moldova mai bine ar fi văzut Iaşiul, Piatra Neamţ, Botoşani, Suceava, chiar şi Bâradul sau Romanul, chiar dacă sunt mici sunt mai drăguţe ca Bacăul.

Atatea lucruri frumoase in Bacau, aici sunt vizibile doar 4%.

Imi place ca vorbiti de Bacau dar aratati la lume cum sa cumperi capsuni, lapte de la dozator, o tentativa de teren de basket, si o caruta. Frumos mi se parea sa aratati "landmark-urile", nu un graffiti acoperit de prezentatori.

GunSize nu pot face fratelele meu bacauan, eu nu mi-am permis luxul sa am parinti care sa munceasca in timp ce eu invat sa fac filmulete de amator. Dar ca bacauan, mi se pare infantil sa arat la mapamond cum cumparam noi branza, lapte si capsuni la piata
codrin002 Bine, dar cam acestea sunt obiectivele ce le gasesti in mun. Bacau. In afara de 2-3 cluburi serioase si zeci de cafenele/restaurante, ce vezi mai interesant ? Istorie ...nimanui nu-i pasa.

Bacaul este un oras in declin dpdv cultural si nu numai.

Alina Simoncini nu prea înțeleg ce vrei sa intrebi..? După părerea mea e făcut slăbuță promovarea asta .. sunt atât de multe locuri istorice , nu piața centrala de unde cumperi coroane mortuare :)) lol
@@bogdanu81 Pot sa ma intreb cum a fost Bacau acum 30 de ani? M-am născut în Bacău și nu știu cum era atunci. Adică dacă a avut relații comerciale cu alte țări europene chiar înainte de căderea regimului. Dacă nu este o problemă, cereți aceste informații.
