A lot better than most of the guides i've seen on Riven, I'd have enjoyed a more openly structured approach but it's really good nonetheless. you mention a lot of very good habits for playing her but I think, although this is arguably very hard, you could structure or sort it a bit more, visibly or through the script. might require more than 10 minutes but I think you make good use of your time, 7/9

I was surprised to see a clip from my yesterdays game in here. Although i often use R2 Q and if i hover the champion it's hard for them to dodge since it follows them, if i'm not sure that they have their Flash up, i'd use either W or 3rd Q before ulting.

I think its important to note how right clicking at the right time during your q can make all of your skills, not just autos, come out much faster. For example when you talk about q-w lane combo it is very important to get the right click timing right so you can surprise your enemy. I have been maining riven since season 3 and still learn something new from this video with the blast cone qss trick.

I've been playing riven all my life and I still suck, this video really helps out it made me realize my mistakes. Been trying to takedown my opponents in one go and ends up going south its frustrating to the point I question myself, Did I waste 2 years of gaming experience in this champion? I thought I knew riven, until this point.

As a soon-to-be Poppy main, the thing about not trying to win lane is so true. If the Poppy can time the w, your whole combo breaks. If she e's during your q, even q3 it cancels it and if you are near a wall you get stunned too(and the e in wall deals double damage too). With q she can punish if you decide to follow and even escape due to the slow. If she is somehow losing, she can just ult you away. If you do manage to kill the Poppy 2 times in a row, dont get too happy. The moment she has sunfire or even chain vest and cinder, she wins fights. From what I noticed(from the one game I got too cocky and lost lane to Riven) after you kill the Poppy 3-4 times you get enough gold to kill her. If you rush cleaver. Even if you win lane, in teamfights the w can still butcher your combo.
To finish this paragraph, roaming is indeed the best possible scenario. Get ahead in other lanes/get other lanes ahead. Expecially bot. Bonus points if it's a Vayne and/or a Brand.

After I OTP'd Lee sin with 500k mastery points, many people say that playing riven is easier than Lee. Which I disagreel.

FYI you can cheese poppy, renek, pantheon matchups in the first few levels (unless it’s renek PTA w ign). Below dia i would recommend trying to cheese with ignite and bone plating. Jayce and Kennen are ok in current meta just take dshield and give up prio sometimes it’s ok. You win 6 to jayce if f up and kennen just roam.
