- Quick installation video of the extended enhanced mag release for the FN FAL rifle (metric only). The mag release was provided by DSA. The installation process is the same for the extended and ambidextrous mag release.

My friend made something like this about twenty years ago by silver soldering a cut-off AK charging handle to the mag release and bending it into a spoon shape for the finger to hit. Some may not like it but he has problems with one of his arms and the more he can ease the difficulty of using a gun, he will.

I'd like to get a mag release that's more of an ambi- wide paddle style, saw that one mod the guy at DSA did for that type and I'd love to get one of those (or make it because I think they welded it together).
Also, any updates on when more Metric magazines will be available? I really want to get a couple more (including 30rders) but can't find them anywhere.

I do not have any leads on metric mags at the moment but I will always be looking for some. They are hard to find, especially the ones in a good condition
@@thefalguy9848 Yeah, same issue i'm having lol, would be nice if IMBEL imported the million plus surplus of new stuff they have, would be a huge alleviation on the market demand lol.
You also could just use an L1A1 mag release...

I really look forward to your presentations I always learn something new about my new FAL rifle I just wish I could find those metal magazines that you have looked all over for them not available or if they are available they’re in poor condition for a lot of money
I had a few metal mags for sale but they all sold out. I'm always trying to find new ones in good condition and that is unfortunately hard
