the scenery is absolutely breathtaking in Western Virginia, and my hats off to you for using a drone to capture the aerial video portion of the presentation.....thumbs up, great video...
Very enjoyable compilation!! Was only beside you in one spot, which shows the variety of places there were to see this! Very good work. The drone footage pacing is tops.
let me tell you this i'm pretty sure O.Winston Link hoped that 611 and 1218 would run again after the 1994 cancellations and even though he didn't live to see 611's second return in 2015 he got to see it and 1218 in there first excursion carriers as well as in revenue service in the 50's and i'm sure had he lived to see 611 come back i'm sure he would be very proud to the men and women who made it possible for her to return
No matter how many times it's shown, and even though I understand it, it's still a befuddlement to me how steel wheels on steel rails can pull all that weight!
Thanks so much for posting this. I'm sure that I have never seen any better railway photography. What a wonderful job has been made on 611.

Wonderful video! Definitely got some chills hearing that wheel slip on Christiansburg grade.
I like how you use the quadcopter to get the proper viewing angle. Great work. Excellent video.

Great video!!
What if 611 can reunite with 765 for a doubleheader from Roanoke to Lynchburg and back in the future?
