@@mayotwo you dont remember correctly, there was a bunch of seasonal challenges for 2022 which have now been retired, but those challenges were the exact same as the normal ones, except they required less for each level. the unkillable demon king one is still available, just not the 2022 version.

This is definitely lore related, what with the darkin dog coming and the void event teased sometime ago. We're probably gonna meet "Jak'Sho" which is a shuriman name. "The Protean" implies it's something that can do many things.

@@justv7536 It's passive is an always-active Zilean ult with no cooldown. Q is a dash that stuns everyone it hits. You can recast it twice. If you hit champions with all three, you gain +3 permanent AD. W is a blink that grants a shield to your entire team. It resets if one of the shields is broken. E empowers your next three autos and gives you a mini-dash with each one. E passive gives you permanent HP for each minion you kill (+1 for casters, +2 for melees, +3 for cannons, and +5 for siege). R gives you vision of the entire map and global range on your autos for 20 seconds. Each minion you kill during this time gives you double HP. Each champion that you kill during your ult becomes possessed by you. The player is removed from the game and replaced by an intermediate AI that switches to your team. R passive gives you +5 AP for each champion you possess. Once you possess the entire enemy team, you can possess dragons, baron, and towers, as well as kill off your own team to possess them. Once you are the only player left in the game, Jak'Sho consumes you as well, permanently deleting your League of Legends account.

I assumed this item was tied to Kai'sa. Its a void entity, it acts like a second skin, and it consumes its host eventually. Which is basically Kai'sa's entire thing with her weird void suit that either gets fed Void beings or will eat her instead.
I actually never learned that lore. Wow, Kai'sa is the most magical girl esque champion in the game, who would've thought

then you see her and it's just a cute girl with a skin suit. like ayo, lemme see more of the parasite, less of the "uwu". show me a scarred limb or two, a face morphed with the suit due to how long she's been attached. Kai'Sa is a battle-hardened woman who clawed her way from the literal antithesis of the normal world where things aren't even meant to exist with a parasite attached to her body that's morphed it to suit the Void realm. she shouldn't be an unblemished, makeup on point, e-girl lookin' ass with an alien suit that's more fashion than it is an actual living, alien being.

Also to add to this, on ARAM a weird blue glow is being emmited in the large ice pillars behind the ghost, and once it appears it starts making this weird sound and glowing purple, and after a minute it just disappears.

Wait I'm not crazy then. I told my friends about it but they called me crazy and said that always happened. And I was like wtf no it didn't.
I noticed that too a while back and I think it's just the aram gates they recently added, the glow and noise noise were in sync when people used the hexgate atleast from my experience. I was hoping it was something cool too but probably just an oversight by Riot :(
Makes sense since The Howling Abyss is right infront of the Frostguard Citadel, which is Lissandra's palace.
Lissandra has trapped the Watchers (which are voidborne) very close to the citadel, the "voidmagic" leaking out of that place isn't unrealistic, so it's very plausible the ice near the shopkeeper is tainted.
I've seen what you're talking about. Knowing how Riot kinda...spaghetti codes everything they make (such as Elemental Lux's other forms are actually kept under the map until used). Its a very developer thing to just avoid the complications of certain assets and just place them aside. From what i can tell, since ARAM now has portals, those balls of light are actually just visual effects that would be on the Hex gates, because they literally respond to when people use the ARAM portals. Since they want a Howling Abyss theme they placed those "Hextechy" effects off to the side, where no one can see them...unless u were to yknow...use replay mode to look at them off the map.

I like this, I think the concept of Jak'Sho is super cool and can't wait to see what they do with this. I really hope it is a champ teaser since I think Void champs are really dope, but I'm disappointed in most of the roster. Bel'veth and Rek'sai seem just missing something. I like the organic-mechanical theme that Kha'zix and Kai'sa have. The idea of something that just grows, consumes and evolves as a Living weapon. I'd even love to see a storyline explored where there's a void civil war perhaps waged between a fully realized Jak'Sho and Bel'veth. Where on one side we have more organic void creatures and on the other we have more mechanical evolving void creatures. If Jak'Sho does become a champ tho, it's gonna need a new name that doesn't sound like Jax's shoe.

Anyway, Bel'Veth is already hinted at having beef with Rek'Sai, whose maternal instincts to protect the Xer'Sai and her territory lead her to strongly oppose Bel'veth's ambitions.

Another thing to note is masterworked Icatiia's endurance on PBE is called "Inevitable Assimilation" assuming that no matter what it will bind with you like a parasite which is what the current Masterworked Jak Sho's is but idk if masterworking it means different effects or why they changed it's name and icon for season 13 tho

I'm guessing Jak'Sho will be turn out to be tied to Jax somehow. Their names are similar, both are Icathian, Jax himself is ambiguously human (three fingers, possibly multiple eyes), and he's been begging for a lore update for ages. My theory is that Jax will finally reveal his face and it will turn out that the parasite chose him for his battle prowess when Icathia fell, and that he's always been a human/voidspawn fusion.

I was building Jak sho on modekaiser once got no deaths and had the message pop up. Me and my friends were so confused but I saw it as a nice ending.
i've had it happen to me and a friend before on seperafe occasions and the only thing we can find in common with people online is i think you need to get an S or S+

I kept searching for it but couldnt really find any noteworthy posts. But basically, there's an interaction with Senna and Heartsteel where you can proc it twice per champ in quick succession. You'll need to Q the first proc and then auto the second one, which basically let's you stack it twice per champ. It doesnt work in training dummies but only in champs.
So we know it’s linked to the void and kaisa some how. Her armor was called a “second skin” in her lore. It’s purple af too lol. We should have a void event soon too right? Hopefully that means we’re gonna see that event in the summer time. Maybe with a new void champion in spring?

It's a teaser for an upcoming ultimate skin for yuumi portraying it as the parasite it is.
It may be something related to the new darkin champ. Think about it, Darkins are Ascended that fought the void and got PTSD and Icathia is the "symbol" of what the void can actually do if unleashed so it makes sense that this is a teaser for the darkin. It could have an ability like the old Morde ult, a curse or something like that. There is a leak that says that the new champ has one AP scaling, so it may be this. This is my theory and it would be really cool since I started playing Morde only in season 10 so it would be nice to see his ult back (probably without the zombie part but at least it's something).
Also because Jak'Sho is from the void, maybe it is something to do with absorbing other champs power in gane kinda like morde ult

big thing i just thought, if jak´sho gets relased as a champ after absorving so many people, the item get deleted but replaced by another item and proper jak´sho becomes a champ wich passive is the one of the item but toned down.
it would be kinda cool to have a spicy realease again like that, it champs more interesting and not like the last 2 champs they realeased where they arent to be seen at all in games cuz they arent interesting nor to lore or gameplay, would love to see more "fun mechanics" champs in the game, like rengars pasive or khasix and kaisa evolutions or even something weird like aurelions stars

Cause the full item name is Jaksho the Protrean and protean means different and varied forms meaning this might be or highly likely that helm is the actual champion like it consumes powerful things or beings so it can adapt like belveth cause belveth learned how to speak and tried to mimic human movements cause she consumed and adapt beings living beings
Kai'Sa is the only one to wear her suite, it was a young weak voidling when she found it. Jak'Sho has clearly had several different wearers.

How is this item NOT rigidly related to Jax? Jak'Sho, Jax, the names are so incredibly similar. Jak'Sho has multiple eyes like Jax does, it's Icathian just like him, it's purple just like him. The Protean means that it's a multi-class thing that does several jobs, and Jax benefits off of every single stat that you build no matter what you're building. It's just so apparent.
No because things can have similar names to each other and Jax has a full name. Jax is just a nickname because his real name is too god damm long. Besides, Jaksho being very generalized is a balancing mistake not intentional. Protean refers to how it lets tanks adapt over time in battle.

Im pretty sure ur right. Jax' lore pretty much talks about the icathians trying to use the power of the void to fight back against their shuriman oppressors. They ended up losing control of the power and it began to consume everything around it, destroying icathia. It could maybe even be the corpse of the previous mage king (the ruler of icathia who got killed by the shurimans in battle) which got consumed by the void after they lost control and now uses it as a vessel.
It would be the icathians version of void corruption. Shurima has darkins, freljord has dark ice.

Maybe he also evolves throughout the game like khazix changing form and getting more abilities with a bound gimmick like kalista and her ult. imagine the ult he absorbs the adc's power when they die changing their moves and stats, im grasping at straws but that would be cool to see

I really hope that Jak'sho will be like an offensive version of Yumi. Instead of healing, it grants Armor and better attacks or something, maybe an ability to pull it's host towards an opposing unit or a wall. It would be sick!
We already have it. It's called Ball. Orianna's Ball to be more precise. It gives a shield and permanent Armor and Magic resist upon attaching to an ally and can pull enemies towards its host or a wall.
Its sick. I main Ball support and im curently at 70% win rate with 43 games. Enchanter build.

@Rival Fun fact that I learned about Jak'Sho! This does not apply to Void-based Champions! I've got several games where I go 0 Deaths on Rek'Sai with Jak'Sho/Unspoken Parasite, and it does not kill me in the end.

After taking a deeper dive, is jaksho the being/power behind kaisa’s armor? Both look and lore fit, the suit feeds on her and she is it’s host, jak sho has had multiple names referencing this same power but with the ability too now kill it’s host. Are we going to see a dead adc or has riot learned from lore story mistakes? Additionally, will this remain a feature? This kills the unkillable demon and several other things does it not? Or are said things coded to work prior too jak sho unaliving you
The look does not fit, nor does the lore. The only person to ever wear Kai'Sa's suit is Kai'Sa, since it was a young, weak Voidling when she found it. Jak'Sho has been in circulation long enough that he has been worn by several people.
