- I have been thinking alot about teaching a beginning quilting class on this channel and at work. This is my version of a very beginning class on quilting.
I need to correct myself. The channel you need to go to to see my sew fun video is Rocky mountain sewing and vacuum. I said it wrong in the video. The starch is called Best Press. My facebook page is also Enchanting Rosemary.

Hi! Just discovered your channel, very nice info! Thanks! We share the same first name, I don't know of many with that name. I had a question, do you have a brand of polyester thread that you like more than something else? Would polyester serger thread be strong enough for piecing quilts or is it too thin? Thanks in advance.
Hi Rosemary! Nice name. I have always liked it. I prefer Mettler or Guetterman , not sure if that is spelled correctly, and a good brand of serger thread is fine. I use Mettler on a serger cone just because I use so much.
Your set up of the tape on the machine and the placement of the fabric is exactly opposite of what I do. You set up left handed. 😋I need to figure out what the needle placement is to the opposite side.
Really? I guess I never thought about it.
I have gone back and watched the video and the camera flipped the screen so I am putting the fabric to the left of the needle and my quarter inch is to the right. Sorry for the confusion and I will watch it more closely in the future.
