I know a woman who was sick for months and her dusty husband did not take her to see a doctor because he cannot afford it!
She got so sick that she called her husband that she needs to go to the hospital. Dusty says "just take a cough syrup and a nap. It will go away". She finally calls her parents, and they admit her to a hospital, pays all the hospital bills and get her home. She had serious lung infection and dusty was not taking her to see a doctor. Her dad got mad at him and he got mad at her for "ruining his reputation".
These dusties only care about their reputations ladies. They don't care about you

Men expect and demand women to do all the compromising in relationships. Compromise is for small issues only, like berber vs shag carpeting. You don't compromise your lifestyle. If you're accustomed to getting what you want when you want, you shouldn't marry a man who wants you to lower yourself and accept a target handbag vs Gucci. Marriage should be between near equals in major things. Both must be career driven or not, want children or not, live lavishly or not, reside in the city/suburbs/rural or not. Compromise on major things leads to unhappiness/dissatisfaction with one partner and eventually erodes the marriage.

Yeah see, that's the problem I have with these older generation women out here who think that a husband by default in some type of gift or blessing. I wish a man would tell me that because he's the man in my life, whatever he says goes. And then they wonder why more and more of us younger generation women have been choosing to stay single, and do our own thing. Why the hell would I want to be with a man that thinks he's going to be able to control me, and tell me what the hell I can and cannot do in my house when it comes to something like getting furniture?

If he can't deal with being with a spoiled only child whose parents have more money than him, he was never with the right girl. Completely agree with this take, the other takes are just wild and only exist on the internet. There is no way so many people don’t understand why this would be an issue in real life.
They’re husband and wife, the decisions they make have to be made together, the ladies in this comment section would be up in arms if the husband was making decisions about their home with his mum, but they can’t see how her going behind her back to his father would be a problem? This just doesn’t make sense.
She chose the man she wanted to be with, why didn’t she choose somebody who could afford everything she needed all at once if that’s what she wanted? You cannot choose a partner who can’t afford your lifestyle, then make it an issue when he asks you to pace yourself according to your household means.

I'm not getting to settle for less because it's not the lifestyle she's accustomed to, and I'm also not going to metaphorically sit in first while she sits in coach, I'm taking my partner with me.

I don't understand why people act that way. Obviously, don't take advantage of her parents, but asking for something you need (like a table or bed) isn't a bad thing. Be grateful and if it's a loan pay them back. Pride will mess up your life if you don't keep it in check.

This new bride needs to get an annulment. He knew she was wealthy and classy educated background and upbringing. Like All black mayles they believe they deserve women way out of their league. Annulment is the way to go. And she needs to only vet men on her financial level of ALL races.

Broke men love to humble financially stabled. Women, especially when she was born and raised in a financially stabled household. When he's struggling to even provide for himself, he thinks he has the funds to buy a house. You need to take care of yourself. First, before you even dare, try to marry someone and buy a home and can't even fully furnish it. You're making a fool of yourself. Honestly, it's really sad and as a Christian. At the end of the day, I'm loving myself and my heavenly father, I dare a broke man. Walk into my life and try to humble me. When my finances are growing flourishing, every step of the way that aint going to happen. Now I understand when you marry someone. You accept them if they're rich poor Through sickness and health and there's nothing wrong with that. But if you're walking fresh into the marriage and you don't even have the funds to buy a house. Fully furnished. You're making a fool of yourself the Wife was not in the wrong because she's used to a certain lifestyle. And if her husband I can't provide that, what was he thinking in the first place? What was going to happen

What I disagree with is her going behind his back. If she disagreed with his opinion she should have said so and suggested a loan from the father as a solution. If he said no to that plainly state that this is what needs to be done. Don't ever go behind your partner's back

This is the bottom line to all of this if a man who seeks a wife doesn't have his financial stability in total check that single female doesn't need to marry him ! He can't take care of his wife himself household then later on children .

I grew up spoiled by my Dad and even now he still pays for a lot of my expenses even though I’m almost 30 😂 who gets mad that their partner has wealthy parents? Just saved himself a lot of money I’m sure. A lot of men seriously do the absolute most 😭

I wasn't born w/a silver spoon but I was raised w/standards. Not having a furnished home after just getting married sounds so ridiculous, even I'm not used to something like that! Like no, at the very least I need a mattress, a couch, a table, and 4 chairs. If I can ask my dad, I will, he ain't rich but he's resourceful af. He remodels houses for rich folk sometimes after they up and leave, they leave all their stuff there. So him and my uncle take all the things they can, he would get it, clean it, and deliver it to me. If a man can't do the same then why marry him?
That being said, since I'm non-straight, I like the idea of spoiling each other and building w/someone. I wouldn't go for someone affluent af and try to bring them down a notch, that's just silly and disrespectful
