My whole extended family loved visiting my parents when they lived in Fairport. Water, Lake Ontario, finger lakes, fascinating Erie Canal, all right there! Professional people, doctors, attorneys, specialists of all sorts, from all over the world! Very child and family oriented. Take up golf during the warmer months, take up skiing, snowboarding during the winter to stay in shape. Cultural activities of every kind. Fantastic Toronto is a short trip away!
That's a VERY attractive parking lot you guys are standing in. Couldn't you do this from the towpath or anywhere halfway photogenic? Reshoot this in the spring on a warm sunny day. And for B-roll, show some of the classic older homes in the village instead of the cookie cutter developments in Perinton.
I lived less than a mile away from the noisy Tin Can factory they are standing in front off, probably the crappiest section of Fairport/ Perington. The usual weather, cloudy, is on full display. Was okay place to live in the 60;s and early 70's as a young boy and teenager. Weather changes on a dime, from hot and humid to cold and clammy, taxes are outrageous, vehicles rust apart within a few years, blew that pop stand in 1972 for Southern California, never looked back.
You never mentioned a Fairport staple CREATED BY US POTTERY. They are a paint your own pottery studio with wine night’s, party night’s, summer camps, birthday parties, coffee shop, bingo night and other things to do. Our favorite place to go and worth the drive. Great for everyone!
Absolutely! The Rochester area is very diverse and is accepting of everyone! In every area there will always be those onesie twosie people who are just rude to everyone, but generally speaking I haven’t seen someone of Asian culture ever have an issue in any of the areas around here!

Our hometown! We moved from there 5/6 years ago and I believe it was a big mistake. Great place to live and I miss it!

That’s because their videos are not meant to advertise local businesses!
Are there commuter buses in any of these offbeat towns to the city?
