The sound of the clack, clack, clack of pumping it up is pretty loud.
I have stuck a square piece of the wooly side of Velcro onto the bottom of the barrel to dampen the sound of pumping these things up.
Helps a lot..
Shout out to Terry!😎👍 He is one smooth dude.🤜🤛
I can smell this garage and it smells like good memories.
Love all my Buck-Rail products!
What have you got from them so far?
@@WalnutandSteel mostly suppressors, 1322, 1377, 362, 760, 1077, Daisy 880 and P-rod all wear B-R suppressors. I even have their 1/2x20 suppressor on my Winchester 1100ss.
Been meaning to pickup the Plumper Pumper to try out. Hoping he’ll offer a 1/2x20 “magnum” can soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼
I've bought 3 suppressors and got one free because I had minor cracks in the slip on version which they replaced for free , also have the 2240 adjustable stock and the Chasis for the crosman Icon.
Buckrail-line Rocks .
That is really cool adding some stability there... Good day for plinking. 🙂
For people who dont know, just a few DB is a massive difference when your talking these volumes. So close to 5-8 Db is huge for an airgun.
Thanks! I have a true sound pressure measuring device on order so I can really test these and get some reliable data.
The famous budget clapper haha 👏🎬
10db sounds pretty good !
{Thanks to the 7 cone-shaped interior baffle design with large muzzle exit expansion chamber}
_Even if it didn't work they looks so cool haha_
Thanks for posting this , I have a bunch of Buckrail-line products as well .
I think the DB Meter doesn't tell the whole Story , it only measures peak noise , to my perception on my 2240 is quiets the report by 60 to 70 percent, I think that perception comes for the length of the noise duration, longer duration seems louder .
That's my best guess for why the ear tells you wow huge difference between suppressed and unsuppresed.
It was a nice try though . On my crosman icon it doesn't work nearly as well as the 2240 carbine I built.
If you haven't already check out my 2240 pcp build.
Thanks for posting , people think we want to be famous and that's why we post but for me it's sharing experiences and helping others , I don't expect to have any fame or fortune from all this , Im glad to see you support Buckrail-line and Terry , Im a staunch supporter of this company.
10 dB is a significant difference. The dB scale is not linear in scale.
I work with db levels for rf and audio daily on my job
That 1322 looks good!!👍
There super good and make a difference once a descent amount of pellets pass through, the lead dust collects and makes it more quiet 🤫🤫🤫 love em, got 4 air rifles with them now!
I have a new package of buck rail stuff waiting for me at home today.
Probably at 8 to 10 pumps it may drop 15 to 20 decibels. Every little bit helps. Plus just looks cool except when LEO pulls you over on the way to the range. " Its just a pellet gun Officer Friday " 😆
after watching many of your videos and doing lots of research I decided to get a 1377, should arrive Saturday. just ordered the suppressor and a few other goodies from Buck Rail so I should have time to break it in before modding it. thanks for all the informative videos 😊
Im hear to tell you that Buck Rail suppressor is great, when I shot my 1322 with the suppressor installed i just started to laugh - it was so quiet.
This is not some mall ninja dress up kit - there is BIG reduction in sound.
Definitely agree!
I like the way the 1322 looks, but it's odd to see something tacticool on your channel since you are into the vintage stuff
Gotta be diverse!
1377/1322 are based on a 70-plus year old design. Very flexible platform can be modified in a thousand different ways.
100 years ago: Military crap, not suitable for civilian hunters/shooters.
Now: What grandfather used, perfectly acceptable to use, unlike this crap today.
Thanks that was very useful
Try it on a c02 gun, bet its quite on a gas gun
Very cool Nibs! Great content and demonstration. I'll take 10 DB's all day. Inside the garage and out in the open air will be a lot different on that meter, I would suspect?
I have enjoyed watching these videos you made
I'll share this on my fb pistol post
I am wanting 1 of these as well
i just bought the rail mounts and a red dot for my 1322
Yep this suppressor does it's job very well! Basically all you hear is the trigger and internal mechanisms when you shoot. Great review!
I have a question, did you notice the point of impact is lower with the suppressor on? I needed to rezero my red dot after installing the suppressor.
Sometimes they can shift poi slightly but not always.
@@WalnutandSteel Thank you for your valuable and quick reply. Have a nice day.
Ty
Nibs! My man! Would you see if that moderator adapter will fit your Crosman 140 for me!?
Hello Nibs, I'm really enjoying your channel. My question is about the 1377/1322. Are both identical below the breech and receiver? I would like to convert my 1377 to a 1322 with a 14.5" barrel.
Yes they are. I haven’t done the switch myself but from what I have seen it is a very easy switch.
Thank you. Will the velocity be the same as the 1322?
@@WalnutandSteel
Should be, the 1322 being a 22 caliber and using the heavier 22 pellets will be a bit slower.
Thats great! Thanks again.@@WalnutandSteel
Db is not linear- 10 db is big!! Got one ordered.
10 dB does not seem to be much of an advantage to me
It is super quiet to shoot the 2240 with the buck Rail supressor on. My ears will ring after just one shot without the supressor installed. Not sure the phone app used does the supressor any justice.
You do realize that every 3db reduction is reducing perceived sound by 50% J.S.
si le pompage est pas le même sa sert a rien moi avec une pompe sent MDS il fait moin de bruit qu'avec 10 pompes avec MDS
sorry I can't translate this
