@dtuk22 HI! How are you? Since Daniel Craig as one of the producers of NTTD as basically given completely control over the film's wardrobe, you're basically making a very true point. I've always thought that Daniel Craig wouldn't sign on for NTTD unless James Bond was killed off.
@@mariakelly90210 Hello Maria I'm good thanks. Regarding Craig having control ! I feel that In moderation it probably was a good thing. Did Harrison Ford have enough control & interest or sway in he's character of Indy ! Maybe more of he's influence may have helped produce a better Dial of Destiny. That said Craig having increased control surely then the character of Bond became more how he wanted Bond to be, rather than the grass roots of the character already layed down by Fleming & previous portrayals of the character. And not just the character of Bond but the trappings surrounding him. Put another way would any employer give more & more control to its employees?? No. But they should be open to feedback & ideas.
Due to a recrent injury which has left me less than fully mobile, I am living in some ways vicariously through videos such as this, how many airports and seaports around the world would I'd have loved parading around with such a sturdy peice of travel kit as that Globe Trotter!
Beautiful piece of luggage. You'll have to let us know if the pop of color and style makes you susceptible to extra scrutiny, such as bag search's and extra security attention.
Got three Samsonite cases all about 25 years old (and I guess around 150 flights, plus several car trips each). They are gradually falling apart but I've had great satisfaction using bits from two in order to keep the third going!!! It has become a personal crusade!! :)
How do you keep it from getting trashed by the airlines? Even carryon luggage gets extreme wear and tear after one adventure. I’ve had the best luck with soft sided luggage with stow away straps and no wheels. Great video.
The luggage is beautiful, but international carry on is often limited to 7kg/15.4lbs and the Globe Trotter carry-on is 4.2kg/9.25lbs. However, it would be great for US domestic flights where the weight is unchecked or in the 25-35lb range. As for the price...definitely luxury rather than practicality or affordability.
@@TheBondExperience Maybe you just pack extra light. LOL. Singapore Airlines weighed my bag at the check in counter at SFO. EVA didn't on my various flights but has been known to occasionally weigh bags at the gate. Low cost carriers like Air Asia always weighed my bags. I do find many airlines are more willing to look the other way if the bags don't seem heavy or if you are travelling in a premium cabin.
I'm of the opinion NTTD was basically a 3hr commercial for various luxury brands. 🍸

I suppose the ending counts as a commercial for BAE Systems.

@@usernameinfo4therevenge In the sense that you're able to name BAE systems as seen in NTTD then in a way...Yes.
Ever seen Die Another Day??? Massive Brioni commercial!!!

Sorry to hear, but happy the videos give you a quantum of joy.
I love The Bond Experience, and I love watching David's videos. They always bring a smile to my face. 😊
Thanks so much!
Did you remember to turn the latches anti clockwise?
LOL! I forgot!

Hmmm, good question...or maybe more susceptible to comments/compliments?
@@TheBondExperience True also!
Nice. But I’m concerned about the size. Read recently where US airlines will be shrinking the size of allowable carryons. 🥂

If he gets gate checked.. RIP. David probably mostly in business class with that type of luggage though, with more dedicated bin space.
I will just carry-on...wouldn't check this.
Beautiful case, congratulations!!
David, did you know you can do the same thing with Floris?

Hmmm, I've done my other GTs international with no issues.

Exquisite.
Thanks!
Wow,just Wow
Any opinion on 4 wheels vs 2 wheels?
Well, it would easy to spot on the luggage carrousel
Looks amazing, but way impractical for me. My carry on is a $100
A beautiful piece. I missed the exploding talc can, is it no longer available? Good to see Abhi again.
I need to install one!
But how many Nick Nacks fit inside?
