At first, I had buyers remorse; but not anymore!!! Purchased the all black version and its has to be the best watch I've ever owned. Functionality , style and build quality is top notch
I did too...for a couple of days. On the third day I wore it for almost 10 hours and it felt so good. I'm never selling it..

It is. It has a special layer of resin between the bezel and the module that resin core watches don't have.

Thoughts on the gwb series?
You mean the square with Bouetooth, Multiband and Solar? It is a good watch. I intend to buy one myself in the near future. It is the same as this watch but all resin. If you are ok with no Bluetooth then check out GW-M5610

Would you recommend the smartwatch - gbd series?
I am personally not a fan of it because Smart features aren't Casio's forte. If you area Casio fan you might look for other options for smart watches. Also, the battery won't last as long as regular Casio watches

Hello Fellow Casio Lover, apart from the Metal Frame, Metal Bracelet & Metal Back Lid how is this watch different from the GWM5610-1 Does it have any more features than GW-M5610-1 Please advise to decide which watch to buy
1. This has Bluetooth
2. Since this is negative - it has STN display
3. The light phases in and out when pressed instead of the suddenly coming on of the light
4. It has extra protection of resin between the case and the Module since this is all metal...for better shock absorption
5. The original brick pattern on the face
6. Screwback case
7. Stainless steel core and lugs

The rechargeable battery will become weak just like the battery in your phones. Just make a note of which battery your watch has so you can pick up the same configuration rechargeable battery in 15 years
Bought all black without the gshock symbol, kinda regret just for that haha, also time is harder to read. Id love to get the lighter screen version with red symbol on and plastic bracelet cuz metal kinda not tthat confortable to sports.
What do you mean without Gshock symbol?
Casio offers the same watch at a lower price, but with the G-Shock symbol and bluetooth the price is higher.

As far as I know, this is the only one that is full metal with screeback case and with Bluetooth. If you don't want Bluetooth,
GW-5000U (screwback case with all resin body)
GM-5600 (metal case and bezel and resin strap but with no screwback case)

Will multiband / wave ceptor work in india? I want to import a wave ceptor from japan ....
It won't work unless you do it manually! I have made a video where I demonstrated how to set the atomic time using an app. It will take you about 3 minutes but at night because of less atmospheric interference (because Radio waves are electromagnetic) you can even get a signal in under 2 minutes. You might have to do this once a month to have accurate time on your watch :)
