Buck Owens Ranch Show March 15,1966 Tommy Collins You Better Not Do That

The Buck Owens Ranch Show was a nationally syndicated half-hour TV series that ran from 1966-1972. Four times a year Buck and the Buckaroos would travel to Oklahoma City's WKY-TV studios to film a dozen or more shows that would then be broadcast weekly. The show featured Buck Owens in his prime and showcased the famous "Bakersfield Sound."

The original Capitol 45 of You Better Not Do That remains a long time major favorite on this end (Dion And The Belmonts thought so too, as they covered You Better Not Do That on their first album). And hearing a live version thirteen years after Tommy cut the original single (and with Professor Owens reprising his over the top genius guitar work) makes this clip nothing short of answered prayer.
