The hydra change is actually a buff and not a nerf because u no longer get aggro for hitting a tower with an enemy next to it

rumble is definitely a nerf, the early clear speed was really nice, and late game he never uses passive
his first clear might be a bit faster than last patch cuz he can now overheat lvl 1 again, which he couldnt do before and even lvl 2 it was hard to overheat a lot.

good thing imo. If some changes backfire and things get way too overtuned its pretty nice they have a backup to scale back on those champs
i hope you two make a tier list like for msi, that was great to refer to while watching games, and just to watch the creation and explanation.
You can't nerf grevious wounds because people cried about healing for a year so they nerfed healing items and runes and buffed grevious wounds. But that ended up killing champ that have healing in their kit. The buff makes sense on Soraka
It would makes sense if it just ignored GW not remove it. Also its not "killing champs that have healing in their kit" its more like Soraka's entire identity is Bant so they had to buff at least her otherwise a single item counters the champ no skill or counter pick involved and she would have just moved towards a poke champ instead

They also reworked Mundo. Hashinshin is right. Riot is refusing to acknowledge that ignite and healing debuffs is a problem.
I don't think there is that much difference between removing GW and ignoring it. most of the time every tick of your damage applies it so it'll probably be back very soon (In the case of ignite I don't know if every tic applies GW)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it has been confirmed by Riot champion designer Twin Enso that it is a tooltip error and that the additional health will count as Max HP, so Mundo won't gain additional damage on W, E and R as a result of the change :(
@@grimwill7686 still a buff just not a super broken one like before. The 20% additional hp is still factored into e damage maybe w if I’m not mistaken.
@@Stanley_Tr33 Oh yeah don't get me wrong it's definitely a nice buff, just not as much of one as people think (not their fault that there's a tooltip error), also the W and E HP scaling is based on Bonus HP so no bueno. Edit: It does boost Grasp of the Undying and Titanic Hydra's Cleave so...that's something I suppose.
Dr. Mundo also scales with hp so that bonus hp is pretty nutty
I read somewhere that sadly it's a tooltip error and it's actually additional Max hp, so the extra damage from bonus hp on W, E and R won't be boosted by this R change :(

it seems like they sometimes miss the intention of a change. e.g. the hydra change is intended as a buff/QoL change, but was interpreted by them as a nerf
W cd decrease doesn't matter. The mana cost on it are too high. She can only use it 4-5 times in lane anyway (without cookies).
DK Canyon already playing that Hecarim in SoloQ with those Predator buffs.

Kog'Maw's E with a mythic right now one shots the back line and he can R the melee minions to insta clear a wave. It's a pretty impactful change IMO.
With liandries you were oneshotting the backline anyway
Honestly it would be great if it was possible to do either minor adjustments or perma remove champs from the games with the bans. Champs being 99% banned is just pros agreeing on a champ is too op, and therefore removing an actual "regular" ban towards the enemies
3.08 solo full clear zed, 3.02 solo full clear talon...so yeah, pretty good clears
Honestly, I love how Riot changes little in this patch. LS wants people to play the proper counters, now with little changes and little random OP picks, players and coaches can actually learn to properly play enchanters into engage supports, etc etc.

Guys remember that this is not actually the worlds patch. Jeevun Sidhu confirmed on twitter that 11.19 is the worlds patch but this is just to get things a little closer so you might see a few bigger changes next patch.

Played a bit of AP Kog and I think E buff makes it so E one shots casters so you can R melees to basically insta-pop the whole wave. Also shifts the build more towards Seraphs as opposed to Manamune as that was up for debate.
With liandries you were oneshotting the backline anyway.. Only thing it fixed is the dilemma between seraphs and manamune as you mentioned

@@wispppp Yup, just them fringe cases where it would matter, also hp from everfrost is nice, also if you went ludens but have it on cd then you also one shot it now. Just gives more options now.
I just wish they'd shift Taliyah's power back into her Q and give it the AoE back so she could finally be good mid-lane again. It takes four stones to kill *one minion* ! So to waveclear you have to waste your E W combo, which then gives the enemy a very long window to harass you since your most reliable damage is gone (and it's not even that reliable). When you just have your Q , all the enemy has to do is hide in the minions and you literally can't touch them.
For the rumble changes I first did
20 * 0.2353 * 17 and got 80.002 so it should be that he gets a 23% attack speed increase on his passive per level. (it's 17 and not 18 because the 20 is the level 1)
by level 9 he should have 42.354, which is less than before and only by level 11 does he get over 50% (20 * 0.2353 * 11 = 51.766)

Credit where credit is due: the Draven buff is excellent game design. That's a really fun, interactive proc that suits Draven's egotistical feast-or-famine style really well. Plus it makes perfect sense that "The Executioner"'s ulti should have an _execute_ passive. I look forward to seeing how good/bad players use that and get baited by it.... man, I can feel the pull to play Dravman already, even tho I know I dont have the hands.... the possibilities that juicy new ult power avails.... stay down, pp, STAY DOWN.

Think this thing with healing is more of riot not wanting to nerf grev because then they'd have to nerf the healing items as well so instead of making those changes they're just buffing champion healing
No disrespect to LS and Nemesis but these are the same guys that thought Viego was trash yet saw pro play everywhere, the same guys that thought Mundo rework was bad yet saw pro play in NA, EU and KR and they thought the Kench rework was a complete disaster yet saw play in EU and NA. So it's probably better to reserve judgement on how impactful this patch and the next patch will be until we see what the actual pros do at Worlds.
We saw that minor changes during spring completely warped the jungle meta which allowed for Udyr to come to prominence the major change was a to buff his Phoneix stance and look what happened. Similar situations happened with Morgana and Rumble as well which saw them dominate the meta at MSI. There are a lot of minor changes that are happening here so we really have no idea how much they will warp the meta come worlds. Its good that they don't do what Ls mentioned at the back end of this video otherwise we could've gotten the juggernaut disaster from previous worlds were certain champs are pema pick/ban. I want to see the best teams from summer come into a worlds championship where they are familiar with the meta and not have the rug pulled out from underneath them at the last minute which inevitably makes the tournament a Russian roulette which then devalues the tournament.
I think everybody was wrong on viego. It ended up being way easier to get a possess than thought previously.
Mundo isnt really good lets be honest. It wasn played alot and looked so shit more often than not. Tahm was giga broken but pretty sure it took a very huge buff to make it that way.
The entire point is to judge the patch. I agree they almost always overrract but if j dont want to hear their opinion maybe just read the patch for yourself?
@@ensiemen9836 This isn't true many pros could see the strength in Viego right away. It was mainly them that thought it was giga trash. Ls had his memes all ready at the time as well. It's the assertions that they are making and when so many micro changes have come through and many more will come through in the next patch, Nemesis even says that the nerf to Renekton was huge and could see players drop him from pro play that's pretty huge imo when you consider how much of a global meta pick he is. I don't believe either of them saw Udyr, Morgana or Rumble being meta warping picks when there changes intially came through and I think Udyr's changes especially were the case. Whether Mundo is rubbish is a matter of opinion but it didn't stop pro teams from across the world from picking him.

@@ensiemen9836 what I'm essentially saying is that even small changes could completely warp the meta. So Nemesis assertion about Renekton actually has pretty big implications because let's say he's correct in his assertion. It could mean other champions that Renekton would naturally suppress could see play right? and it removes a staple pick from a lot of top laners champion pools that would attend worlds. That in itself is meta warping.
World's patch is 11.19. This is part one of two patches for pro play.
I meqn i like watching the current meta. I don't mind if its the same meta as this past season.

A cool change I thought about for trundle e. So it’s like a mini rework to make him cooler so I would make the pillar have a brief delay before appearing and if you hit enemies in the middle you impale them in ice (i thought about maybe it does a brief knock up as well but that sounds kinda op)so they’re slowed and after a couple auto attacks enemies become frozen
If you get hit by the Pillar it is already a small knockup

Worlds is like the only time that can happen so hopefully. Still always confused why LS actually turbo flames people if they dont play shit like that, but if the champs u play switch every two weeks u dont have time to learn shit like that. Now that they are on this patch for like 2 months might make fun flex picks viable again.

taliyah buff is amazing as support taliyah , gives a lot more freedom to play very agressive, but yeah sadly as long as Q is not AoE anymore you need to WE waves on midlane to push them and that kills both your chances to trade and your mana bar it's awfull

First time I'm agreeing with the LS. Draven buff is really solo lane focused he can fill void which Lucian nerfs left in a midlane. Of course it will help botlane Draven too buff is still a buff

i think soraka R should ignore grievous, not remove it. removing it is incredibly broken. also the reason riot doesnt nerf grievous is because they would need to nerf a ton of items to do so. there are too many items that give you healing( mythics there is goredrinker, sunderer, shieldbow, riftmaker,moonstone, eclipse). riot would have to admit the item rework was a failure but they will never do that
The two are less different than most people seem to think. They're not identical, but nearly everything that applies GW reapplies it SOOO easily. Best case scenario, it gives you a small window to weave a W in there before GW gets reapplied.

Because instead of having permanent grevious after buying you only get it when you press R and it having it in your kit limits your builds. His R isn’t short of a cd early(2min) so it’s not really going to help him In these match ups as much as a bramble vest or obliv orb would.

@@wispppp my only conclusion to that is people found her boring to play, as you know how people always want to play champions they find fun for themselves even pros do this especially when multiple things are really good. Like whats Meta people don't actually play seriously as Meta means Most Effective Tactic Available and everyone else is what we would call sheeps as they are only chasing whats the most popular. So the true Meta is a Shadow Meta as in overshadowed by everything else despite being the best as little to no one is going to play it for some reason and those that do reap the rewards greatly if they can withstand the toxic backlash from playing it from those pathetic sheeps

GP doing 2800 damage crits with barrels when he only has 400 AD might be it.
I mean I literally googled it and I got bugs from back in 2016 as results so kinda suprised they didnt tell us since its apparently not that known. If its somehting big its probably been shadow nerfed.

Riot finally buffing ad twitch and its not even a good or impactful buff he gets 24-30 extra damage on his autos lvl 6. Riot hard gutted his first core item "botrk" on ranged champs they nerfed crit items twice going into this season while also making adcs spike at 3 items again even after we spent literally an entire 2 seasons asking riot to nerf our late game to buff our 2 item spike which they did and then immediately the next season they revert the changes and force adcs into 5 crit items to reach 100% crit. All of these things on top of each other has just compounded to the point where unless riot gives twitch actual scaling on more then just his e the champions going to remain to be bad unless your playing in a mmr where you don't belong. Lets not forget his autos still can get dodged and or evaded by any champ with a dash or high ms if they are even slightly out of his normal auto range.
Also when playing lethal tempo, E is just an actual dps loss if you don't play a heavy AD build

god i miss the 4 items 100% crit and having 1 slot for GA or other defensive item, every adc just builds on-hit bc crit is just a joke nowadays
what do u mean finally buffing AD twitch. Pretty sure he has literally been buffed 3 times, every time his R. He got more AD on his R like 3 times, he got increased R duration etc. Obviously it isnt enough but I think its time to accept hes just shit in the meta and shit with new items. Even if they actually gave him more dmg on E I dont think he can be saved rn. Also dont think hes that bad but the only way to play him is like every good adc rn, shieldbow and wits end and thats obviously not something twitch players enjoy.

i feel like LS and nemesis are always saying that a nerf/buff doesn't matter and then it ends up removing the champ from pro play. remember when they said the nerf to Diana's clear speed wouldn't change how often she's picked? she was in almost every game before that change now you see her much less often. even playing her i notice a significant reduction in clear speed.
Yeah they’re going to be wrong sometimes, but also in this specific instance maybe they feel the champ should still be picked and pro players are overreacting
@@jupiterrome6035 they were mega wrong about fizz too - champ needed to be nerfed almost immediately because of how strong it was. qiyana is popping off incredibly hard too.
31:22 this is partially to prevent accidental turret dives while posturing aggressively. This has absolutely nothing to do with people above Gold ELO, and is definitely not the only reason, I just figured I would notate that.

I don't totally disagree, but there's almost no doubt that Renekton is not going to be picked now, which means Nidalee will not be picked either, whereas Zoe and Lillia will have a lot more presence. Also, I think that Miss Fortune will see some games and the Ashe priority will definitely decrease. The changes aren't massive, but they are definitely noticeable, especially for LPL and LCK teams which historically love the Renekton.
@@markovchainz8314 I really think people are going overboard with thinking Renkton is never going to be picked. While the empowered W was good, that's not the only thing he is picked for. He had a 100% ban rate in both KR and CN prior to this because he was the best top laner by far. Now he won't be the best top laner by far, so maybe he won't be 100% ban rate but to think he won't be a solid top lane pick is going a bit far imo.
@@MrTVx99 Certain champs appear in pro play (or don't appear in pro play) regardless of how good they are in solo queue. Renekton has always been a strong laner, and he is still an ok laner. But at the end of the day, the primary reason he is picked in pro is because he can stun lock a target, which allows you to dive/gank and make specific preplanned plays. You ever wonder why Zed, Katarina, Mundo and other solo champs that are effective in solo queue never appear in pro, it's because they don't offer what is needed in a coordinated team or against a coordinated team. Another good example is leblanc. Leblanc is one of the only "assassins" to have a high rate of appearance in pro over the last few seasons. The reason is because she is not nearly as useful in an uncoordinated team. The chain setup for her jungler, ability to poke in late game, etc don't get utilized very effectively in solo queue. Fizz is another example. Does lots of solo damage, can definitely carry games in ranked, etc. But in pro, Fizz loses a lot of what makes him good. Aka, you're not going to just get a free roam or turret dive. There's too much vision and communication, plus people know how to save their CC and focus targets. Renekton may appear, but I could also see him not appearing at all due to the W nerf. It's huge for pro, minor for solo queue.
"Since this is the first of two Worlds-focused patches" Meaning Worlds will be played on 11.19!

Were the numbers on Lillia's buffs just typos or am I dumb. It says health regen increased and cooldowns decreased but the numbers show the opposite
It's actually the opposite! They're trying to get her out of solo lanes. They nerfed her HP regen, buffed her passive's HP regen against monsters specifically and lowered some Cooldowns to compensate.

@@mizter5597 yeah I assume so! At least what I was on the preview was nerfs to HP regen and then those other buffs I mentioned.
Why won’t they increase the cooldown on Talon’s e? (Either make it longer in between jumps or make it take longer for walls to become available again) everyone hates his roaming. His ability to one-shot isn’t unique
