      I was winning at HS lunch hour playing pennies nickels dimes and quarters. It felt twice as sweet than sitting in casinos. LOL I was card counting before I knew there was card counting. I was definitely a nerd. I don’t think I ever hear kids doing that in HS. they rather play video games or something

    We must pull players off of continuous shuffled games and 6-5 blackjack games by educating them even at the tables. I do this when I’m in a casino. The only way these games will disappear is when those tables are empty and making $0 for the casino. We players are all playing on the player side of the table. We need to help each other out. I’ve taken more money out of casinos by doing this than by actually playing perfect blackjack.

    I was enamored with card counting through the movie 21. I tried when I turned 21. Have lost when I tried it because I lose the count easily. 😓 It went too fast. So I gave up. I do have a passion for cooking, and I'm a pastry cook. At least I was before Covid 19.
    Recently I found a blackjack counting trainer online and do that for play money in my free time. I already enjoy doing sudoku and logic grids, so this is just something else I do. Would you recommend card counting for someone like me to supplement income?

    Thnx for another great video! I do have another, geographic issue I would like to have your/anyone's opinion on. I started counting and bought the BA app, but then I did some research for casinos in Europe (where I live at). I found out that almost every casino in Europe is using CSMs with insanely bad rules including my big touristic city. The average house edge is a whopping 0.62%. I will continue counting because I like the fun of it, but the fun gets way less knowing I won't be able to bring any casino down over here. Any advice or tips to still keep going or would you consider this a waste of time?

    • @GaryLuKOTH
      @GaryLuKOTH 4 роки тому +1

      0.62% is still beatable if there is no continuous shuffle machine. If you want to actually count cards in casinos, you are going to have to travel. If that is not something you are able or willing to do, then card counting is probably not for you. You can do it for fun if you like but other than that, if you cannot actually use it, it is probably not worth your time.

    Do you still think card counting would give us an edge, or they have that covered?!?!?

    • @GaryLuKOTH
      @GaryLuKOTH 4 роки тому +1

      Any casino that shuffles after half the cards are dealt or uses a continuous shuffle machine kills card counting. You need 75% of the cards to be dealt in order for the game to be beatable.

    Hey, I'm about as novice as it gets when it comes to table games. The chart on the site has a lot of "double if able"
    What table rules would prevent me from doubling? Specific phrasing that casinos use would be great, followed by an explanation of the phrasing, (if it's not self explanatory) would also be appreciated.

      Some tables will only let you double 9, 10, and Aces. Also, if you have a two card 10 against a 5(as an example) you would double. But if you only got to ten after hitting your first two cards (like a 4 and a 2 for example) and now have ten with three cards then you can't double, you can only hit

      I have written a blackjack simulation program and thoroughly tested this. For reasonable chance of card counting to be profitable in the long run , need at least 70% to 75% penetration . And the simulation is perfect, never makes mistakes like human . Casinos near me do 50% cut exactly, tested that a lot too, house always won with that cut. Any other claim or strategy about this is hot air, ignore.

    I'm new to black jack (like 4weeks new), and so far I've been coming out ahead. The couple of issues I see with version of counting cards is.......
    #1 my casino has a version of blackjack, in which you don't see the other players hands, until the last second and that gives you maybe 10 seconds to count cards at best, before the dealer starts collecting the cards.
    And
    #2 not only does a player cut the deck (4 deck play), the dealer does as well with a yellow card. So as soon as the dealer reaches that yellow card, they play out what's on the table, then they reshuffle. Which means you never get to play out the 4 decks.
    Does anyone know anything about those version of black jack at my casino?? And how it effects card counting?
