@@mbuckholz For sure this is probably Melodyned or some equivalent, but most people don't realize that in general - you still have to be able to sing pretty well in order for auto-tune to be of use anyways. You *can* edit a vocal into oblivion for sure and I've seen some crazy shit get saved (including my own awful vocals before I figured out how to sing lmaoo) but if your singing tone, breath support, energy, pronunciation, delivery, resonance, ability to hold a note (even if it's off pitch) etc all suck, there's very little you can do to make that sound good. The addition of Ilan has taken AVA to a whole new level. Not necessarily his drumming which is incredible, but how he structures the songs. He and Tom work so well together.

What a beautiful live performance they put out here, and during the height of the Pandemic too when everyone was stuck at home, uplifting our spirits. Also big shoutout to Ilan up there on the drums, he's absolutely KILLED it.
I can’t get over how incredible the guitar tones sound in this performance alongside everything else. Especially in Euphoria, that opening riff has the perfect amount of grunge/gain and that main lead in Rite of Spring just hits so well. An amazing performance!
I came to AVA years back out of my wife's recommendation and the curiosity of the "Blink guy's" other band. I stayed because they are fucking incredible. In the studio and live. Consistently and still. Hope to catch them live.
I've watched it every day for the past 2 weeks and cried 14 times. I weep at true beauty, like a baby every time. And this is some kind of beauty above most of the beauty I have have never seen in my 51 years. Long live beauty and the the life of Tom DeLonge who created the flooding spilling floods made of joy in buckets from my eyes. This is a beauty that will always have my tears. It's a joy and a floodgate that's held them for years. Beauty is magic and tears heal years. Viva la AVA
They really are one of the best bands ever. WDNTW, I-Empire, and Love pt 1&2 have so much soul and love intertwined within the lyrics and instrumentals
This is one of my favorite live performances of AVA ever. I need a sound engineer to explain to me why Tom sounds so good here and so different when I see him live (still LOVE seeing him live, he just doesn't sound this polished now).
This is a controlled studio environment- a lot like a recording session. Yeah it may have been an actual live stream- but the mixer knew exactly what to expect/ I bet it was remixed at least a bit and not broadcasted "live". You can hear the additional vocal delay's sound more similar to an album than other live performances. A mixer is there with them at live shows too but theres a lot of other factors that are uncontrollable there- tons of them, extra variables that are unique to each live show. (the crowd, the stage, the weather if its outside, how drunk tom is, etc. etc.) This was a much more controlled environment- and frankly still stunning and F@CKING AWESOME.
Yeah... I haven't listened to Angels & Airwaves since they first came out and clicked on this out of curiosity but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Tom is a bit of a whacko but he's a loveable whacko and his vocals sound quite good and this was a solid performance.
This is pretty much a live album. artists will usually re-record guitar and will definitely go back in re-record vocals. There isn’t very many true live albums out there.
Amo Angels and Airwaves desde o começo... acho que só a gente, que tem sonhos e fantasias dentro da gente , consegue entender a fundo a banda... obrigado por nos passar esses sentimentos, AvA !!
Just discovered this and wow, no surprise why he is singing so good now with blink. He killed it back in 2021 wirh AVA, so the evolution in his voice and his singing was already there.

An amazing performance!
and surrender 🤘
Thank fuck for Axe-FX.
I want ava back
Blink is gonna continue for a while.. AVA isn’t planning anything anytime soon.
Wow what a incredible performance, love it! ❤
Simply cannot deny how good AVA is. Very very tight, drummer on point, bassist killing it, both guitarist with vocal.. Flawless
I love you for reuploading this
x2
Heaven is up there with one of the greatest songs ever written.
I love this band. The melodies with all the little details are so special. It takes me to other spheres. So beautiful!!
I came to AVA years back out of my wife's recommendation and the curiosity of the "Blink guy's" other band.
I stayed because they are fucking incredible. In the studio and live. Consistently and still. Hope to catch them live.
Heaven has always been a really moving song to me. Sounded amazing live.
this gig damaged me, now can't feel satisfaction if i just listen to them studio songs 😔
Anyone watching this and cry cause of its beauty?
I've watched it every day for the past 2 weeks and cried 14 times. I weep at true beauty, like a baby every time. And this is some kind of beauty above most of the beauty I have have never seen in my 51 years.
Long live beauty and the the life of
Tom DeLonge who created the flooding spilling floods made of joy in buckets from my eyes.
Possibly my favourite Angels&Airwaves concert of the lifeforms tour
AVA does NOT get enough attention, they are one of my personal favorites
finally i found ava live in the best quality
Regardless of pitch correction, this mix / performance sounds fucking incredible. Bravo!
If the choice is between decent sounding pitch correction or awful natural pitch, I'll take the former
@@TylerSampson51agree with you there, mate
Two words: AARON RUBIN
This livestream is *chef's kiss* and makes me desperate for another AVA tour pronto
Watched Blink 182 last night in London and now I am dying to see AVA live, Tom is not only back in Blink but he is back to enjoying live shows
i love angels airwaves my heart beats when i listen to their songs
They need to just make this a live album already
Yeah... I haven't listened to Angels & Airwaves since they first came out and clicked on this out of curiosity but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Tom is a bit of a whacko but he's a loveable whacko and his vocals sound quite good and this was a solid performance.
@@bce5150 all creatives are a bit mad. tom is bat shit mental at times, but i think that freedom drives his music
Hopefully they’ll use this as a live album. It sounds great. And Tom’s voice is pitch corrected so it sounds good lol
@@bce5150 I'm a Blink 182 fan since I was 14 and sadly I never enjoyed his live performances. I'm also surprised with Tom on this AVA show.
This is pretty much a live album. artists will usually re-record guitar and will definitely go back in re-record vocals. There isn’t very many true live albums out there.
Feeling pretty low this week, this has helped see it out and tomorrow is another day. Great show.
Wow thanks for this!! Loved them since the first record and want to see them live so bad!
Thank you for uploading this. Been wanting to watch them play Rebel Girl in this show so badly.
This live is pure gold ! Nice ending ! Thank you Angels And Ariwaves, thank you internet.
haha Thank you internet!!!
I can listen to this and 80s Rush ALL DAY!!! #Fusion 👏
This is unreal. Thank you.
I feel the same way I did when Tom left Blink, as I do now that he’s going back. Absolutely love this band.
Awesome quality! Thanks for uploading!
Thank you for sharing this. This is indeed MAGIC!
Just discovered this and wow, no surprise why he is singing so good now with blink. He killed it back in 2021 wirh AVA, so the evolution in his voice and his singing was already there.
They sounds absolutely amazing in this.
Man, I’ve watched Heaven easily over 100 times. That intro is so deep and I just love how the first verse turns into a fucking jam right after the intro
How in the world am I just finding this?! Fantastic work, whoever put this together
Thank you for uploading this great performance. Someone else did a while ago, but it got taken down. This is some of the best live footage of them. 👍🏻
