Just started making rings. I stumbled across your video and then remembered I had a small little glass vial of stones my nephew had given me when he came to visit. Your video inspired me to give it a try. It turned out great!
I want to do a similar ring except I also want to make the ring too. Gameow, I think that is the name has quite a few tutorials and he is an excellent silversmith. Yours looks real good. Thank you..
Those turned out awesome and I'm sure his wife is going to love them. Ive been holding on to some opals to do wedding bands for my daughter and her fiance, but I don't have a flat lap so I would be sanding down the whole thing by hand. But opals are soft and it should go fairly quickly. I hope so anyways! But your rings look awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Good job. You gotta have patience huh. Can i ask what you call the rings you used so i could look em up to buy to try doing that myself please, and also what glue you used. It would have to be clear drying stuff of course. I'm kinda surprised you didn't get little pits in place like when some quartz is polished. Just as well your co worker like them too eh. Haha
Sure! These are the rings. www.etsy.com/listing/716383892/ .www.etsy.com/listing/752262871/ This is the glue. @@RocksForBrains thanks. 👍 It's kinda crazy that the glue is the most expensive purchase. I know it's there for more than one project, but still. $$££€€
So much fun seeing you creating such beautiful art.❤

Your rings look awesome. I am so ready to go rockhounding. Spring is here but it feels more like winter. 😢
Looks 👍 get yourself a 12-v Chinese heater
Those turned out totally amazing! What grit did you start with?
180. Otherwise the metal wears down to quickly.
Your rings turn out nice. Really Nice. But watching you break those stones like you were, was making me nervious as a mouse in a cat house. Lol
I had safety glasses on don’t worry. 😋

are the ring blanks solid or do you run the risk of sanding past the silver coating
They are solid 😊
where do you get the blanks
Oh from Etsy. www.etsy.com/listing/752262871/
Would this work for a porcelain ring also? Yours look like stainless steel, is that the case?
@@yakovkirkwood5550 I’m not sure, these are made of tungsten.
