Oh, Steve… The rings are lovely! But I don’t have room for any more crafting items. 🤷♀️ Well, okay, these don’t take up much room and look like something I can accomplish. There is one drawer that’s not completely filled… Thanks for enabling me. 😊
ROFL!!! Your comment made me laugh so hard - because I'm the same way! I do a lot of different crafts (crochet, x-stitch, resin, air-dry clay, beadwork, diamond painting) and my son and his wife just got me started on needle felting this past Christmas! My craftroom is still well-organized, but if I pick up ONE more craft... I'm done for! Luckily, I already do resin jewelry (bracelets/earrings/pendants), so adding rings to the "collection" won't be much of a problem.... yet.
I've bought bracelet blanks on Amazon, and have made quite a few using resin. I've seen ring blanks too, but never bought them because I didn't know how to keep the resin from "running"... NOW I know!! Thank you so much, Steve! 💜
The rings look fantastic and great technique !!! ~ 1:40 The original Washi-Tape was never meant to be sticking permanently. It was developed in Japan to temporarily decorate walls and furniture. Therefore "MT" ("Masking Tape") also comes in very broad rolls. 🙂
Very Cool! Love Them Steve! Just An Idea, What If You Put A Nail In The End Of The Wood, Cut The Head Off, And Stick It In A Drill So It Turns. Like A Little Lathe. 😊. That Would Definitely Help. I’ll Have To Try This Method. Thanks For Sharing. 🤝
Love this video!! It’s so informative. I’ve been searching and searching for something that’s this straight forward with no success!! So glad I found you!!
I’m so glad I came across your video. I have those same rings and I wanted to resin them but didn’t know how. I’m going to purchase the diction high viscosity❣️❣️❣️
Hi Raquel from Puerto Rico I just love this video i want to do resin rings but did not know how until today thank you so much for this video i going to try it i am a beginner and i hope it comes out for me God blessing for you and your family i join your channel today
Steve!! I love your videos I have learned so much from them. Quick question: How am I to respectfully and properly recommend a tip you give in a video to another channel I watch? Thank you for your time, videos and commitment to all us UA-camrs 😎
Thanks Steve for sharing this video. I bought some ring mold but they are only 2 sizes. I’m new to this so I didn’t no, they existed. I really appreciate you sharing your talent!!!! Your rings are amazing!!!
Oh thank you! I was looking for a new craft to sell at a craft fair in a month and these will be an easy turn around! Just ordered two types! :D Thank you for showing just how easy it is to make them. Oh, and I just adore those smiley faces - they fit your personality perfectly!
Thanks as always for your brilliant ideas!! Funny. I was at a show a few weeks ago and 2 people asked if I had rings! There ya go! I’ll also have to get the high viscosity resin😅
Beautiful side hustle. Steve!! On Temu, I purchased a stand up, gooseneck UV/LED lamp for very inexpensive. You should check it out. It’s for nail art, but pretty much the same type of resin.
Just beautiful 😍 I have opal chips that would look beautiful in these. Thank you for showing these Steve. I have a sale coming up in a couple weeks here in the States.
Hi Steve I found black finger rings blanks and I should have watched your video closer my first silver ring I did too thick and did not keep moving it made a large bump like a stone in it. Live and learn just saw the idea of the alcohol. Have a great got my from Amazon US.
Your rings. Are lovely and you are very generous passing on your method of making them although I already do to many crafts to start anything new myself I was wondering where you get the tiny embellishments on line.
Hi Steve, 👋 finally had a few minutes to watch your fabulous ring-making video all way through! Of course, it did not disappoint... I'm waiting for my blank ring bases, then I'll be making some of my own. I just love your videos & how well you explain your processes. You inspire me to 'have a go', as we Aussies say. Thanks so much for your unique talent & willingness to share. Jacki B. 🌞💖
Hi Steve these are so great i found the rings in TEMU they came with different sizes they are great i must say you are a master in i really love all of your videos i have a question can i use a ring mandrel to put the ring in it to turn the resin
These are nice. Could you design some strips on the computer, print a sheet of these and wrap them on the rings similar to how you did the tape? Maybe combine this with some of the techniques you already use? I think that could look pretty decent.
Hi Steve. I’ve got the ring blanks and ready to go. Just one question, how does the uv resin stand up if someone wears the ring to wash up or face wash ?
wow! You, my lovely friend are the best. They sound amazing..so much so, that I may give them a try, well, in fact, ive just bought the rings blanks from your l k , just to make sure I have them for when I pluck ups the courage to try them haha. Having trouble with diction at the moment, in terms of them responding to emails and fb messages, but, Ill battle eon, and hopefully get some of the resin soon..take care ,lovely..and thank you - AGAIN x
Great idea! I've been trying to figure out how to make some gauges for my daughter! Hers are 5/8 & I catch myself looking at everything round to see if I can make a mold! LOL
Hi Steve, I've been watching your videos in Australia for a couple of months now and saw the one on inlay rings. I have ordered some to try. Do you use Temu on the internet in UK. I use them all the time for just about anything, The rings cost around $AU33 for I think 15 blanks with free postage. Could help with hard to find items. Love your videos and they have started me on a new craft at aged 75 years. Good luck Sue James
Great video. Would it be possible to take one of those ring sizing sticks and coat it with silicone to make a way to hold the rings while working with them? Thank you.
Hi I am considering making some epoxy resin jewellery as gifts. I read somewhere that the UV ER cracks easier than the air drying ER, have you found this to be true please?
Hello what are the rings called? And how do I order some or where do I order from would love trying making these also what type of resin are you using thank you
These are great! Would love to try, however, I'd love to be able to wear one myself. I have very thin fingers and need a size 5. It didn't look like any of the ring blanks similar to these came that small. Has anyone managed to find any?
Oh, Steve… The rings are lovely! But I don’t have room for any more crafting items. 🤷♀️ Well, okay, these don’t take up much room and look like something I can accomplish. There is one drawer that’s not completely filled… Thanks for enabling me. 😊

What type of glue is used to secure glitter in the groove ? I’m in the US and may need to find an equivalent here.
What's the rings called. Luv it ty.
Hi Steve, could you measure each ring size in mm and get small wooden dowels or rods from B&Q ?
What is the name of the turning thingy for the rings to turn on and make resin even all round?
Where is the best place to get the inlay wedding bands?
These look great! Where can I get the JDiction high viscosity uv resin? Ta! No worries, just found it!
I use child blocks to raise the level of the lamp to allow for 2 handed control.
Hi I am considering making some epoxy resin jewellery as gifts. I read somewhere that the UV ER cracks easier than the air drying ER, have you found this to be true please?
Do the stainless steel ring blanks start to turn colors, finish wears down, after a while? Just wanted to check.
Steve love your videos the only thing that would be amazing was if you could put what you charge for them at your sales.
Sweet!
A modified cup turner would be excellent for this
Pretty
Instead of the gilding glue, could I use modge podge?
Hi Steve are these rings silver
Hello what are the rings called? And how do I order some or where do I order from would love trying making these also what type of resin are you using thank you
I bought these I just have to get them even all the way around the first one I did was lumpy😮😊
May I ask where you get the rings from and how much you pay for them?
What do you charge for them I make them up but never know what to charge for my finished products
An experiment I'd like to see you try is, does alcohol ink work in resincrete? What effects would it make?
very cool.
These are great! Would love to try, however, I'd love to be able to wear one myself. I have very thin fingers and need a size 5. It didn't look like any of the ring blanks similar to these came that small. Has anyone managed to find any?
Do these tur finger green or are they real silver
You dont have to wear a respirator with this type of resin? Im wanting to try working with resin, but need to understand all the extras to start.
