Bionicle's writes realized something that I think not a lot of modern writers ever do: Never underestimate your audience, even if they are kids. Tell the deep story you want to tell, and if you tell it well enough, people will rise to the occasion.

That's my reaction when I find my old Bionicle sets I haven't seen for years.
It's interesting, just looking back, how Bionicle was more than I imagined. The lore was so deep, the characters, settings, etc, and seeing that it taught kids back in the day more about anything than anyone could teach a child in the most simplistic ways possible: Everybody has a destiny, yet none of us can achieve them alone.

I'm honest, I haven't heard the song in like 12 years and I still could sing along now, this song was part of my childhood
I remember listening to this song on our home computer in the earlier days of UA-cam after playing bionicle heroes while my little brothers watched. We bonded so much over Bionicle and the heroic tales. I’m 26 and still return to these awesome memories. One of the best things about the bionic chronicle is that it taps into our human instinct to want to be good and help others no matter the difficulties. Maybe it sounds silly that a “kids Lego story” impacted my life so much, but I have always carried this awesome universe with me and have really taken to heart the human messages it brings.
Not silly at all. Bionicle was the first franchise I got lost in and it shaped a lot of my interests so it will always have a special place in my heart.
I just recently got into Bionicle. In 2019.
And after reading the comics, watching the movies and playing some games, I think this may be one of my favorite franchises out there. And I'm 26.
I'm sad you missed original relise, but still, it is nice to see someone coming back to this awsome series.
It's awesome to see someone get onboard this amazing franchise. Bionicle was a huge part of my childhood and now want to start collecting the sets again.

I am 17 and got in to bionics at the end, the only ones I ever got were two of the agori, the blue and green ones, and looking back on what I missed bionicle is simply awsome.

I'm currently 19, I still love Bionicle always on the lookout in thrift stores for sets i never had! I'll follow it till the day I die.

Even though bionicle is gone now, its legacy very much lives on. Groups like TTV are still going strong and things like the Biocraft Project show that it never truly died. Bionicle had one of the best messages for kids and showed that kids don't need some trash and watered down plot. I hope people remember that and don't forget my favorite franchise. Thanks for being my childhood. There were always be a place in my heart for it.

If you Go to LEGOLAND in California they still have Bionicles stuff there and Ride for Bionicles and they play the Bionicles movie on the LEGO cartoons TV channel at the LEGOLAND hotel
Bionicle is part what shaped me into the man I am today. I’m an author and a musician, and both my writing style and lore development is highly influenced by the epic story, and my compositional and lyrical ideas are heavily influenced by the unbelievably good soundtrack this franchise carried - in ambient themes from the online game, TV-spot bangers like AIK and Cryoshell’s fantastic tracks - the way-too-good movie soundtracks and even Bionicle Heroes’s OST (which was awesome, but I think the composers were on crack) - all of it has shaped me into an ambient-post-rock-DNB-alternative-metal musician. I only have this series to thank for it. It’s aged like a fine wine.

This brings back memories. I remember when they first started advertising the Piraka, how they made it like the Piraka kidnapped this band in real life and it was awesome! The little me literally jumped up and said "wait they're real!" If Lego ever revived a Bionicle set it has to be the Piraka, no easy mode substitute.

I'm 26 as of now, and Bionicle was something I grew up with as a kid. And this song was the GOAT back then. Not to mention that this song has managed to age quite well after all those years. I don't think AIK (the band who made this song) exists anymore, but they did a great job on this!

Bionicle was my childhood. So grateful with all the detail, care and love that the creators poured into the story, even if we had a premature ending, bionicle is such a unique experience and it has a special part in my heart.

Honestly, I miss the Technic Blue vs Purple sets, as well as the Throwbots/cycles that came before Tahu and Kopaka first stepped out of their capsules...though the flash game where you played as Takua was quite good as well.
