I don't know how the people were able to transform that old shack into the cute cottage it became. I always thought it was closer to the hotel than where it was. The sisters of Betty freely visited her there, as if it were close by. I like Betty Jo's hair, but liked the long style better.
I have seen several scenes of Steve playing the piano and they looked authentic but this one is quite fake. I believe the only playing that was authentic was Kate's. At least she APPEARED authentic both on PL as she did in The Beverly Hillbillies.
Betty Jo and Steve didn't have much time to date and be engaged before they wed. It was almost like they jumped from that first kiss to their wedding. Hated to see Kate leave.
Kay was here middle name. They used it and added an e at the end for professional reasons and her producer dad was afraid of nepotism. Also, I have always found it interesting that Linda was the oldest Henning but the youngest Bradley. She has a younger sister and brotherm
You could tell how sick kate waa since her color is bad andshe lost weight. From here un out she wears that sweater a lit to cover up her treatment marks. As the season rolled on she began getting weaker and weaker. Her acenes gew shorter and fewer. By the time tgeyvhad the baby un the 6th season ahe was farctoo weak to appear anymore. They tried to continue for another season abd a hekf before CBS pulled the plug in ALL rural themed shows. It wasn't just the same without Kate sincectge show waa created FOR her specifically. RIP Kate, Charlie, Floyd abd Wendell all if whom nrver saw tge END of the series.
