I was riding and my bike pedal (on the chain side) came off and I don’t know what else came off with it to put it back on correctly, I think it was a couple washers but I’m not sure, and I don’t know how to figure it out without taking it in to a bike shop. I’ve googled and I thought this video could show me but your pedals came already on. Can someone please help, I have the same bike.
Press fit 19mm mid bearings should be on every bike they last forever. I have a bmx with them and not one issue had it for 5 years. Threaded bb are just a money pit especially the euro 3 piece bearings
@@thebasementbikeshop2336 yep, i had bought a euro threaded bb for my dirt jump bike, installed everything properly and snugged tight and within a week the bearing casing got destroyed and bearing a just spilled out everywhere inside the frame. Problem with them is the amount of play they have that causes that too happen. Hollow techs are a bit better because they’re more “snugged” way less play..
Been some time since I’ve seen a video from you. As I saw the title I figured it was a Menards kink bike. Good deals. Wonder if it was from their warehouse fire.
I heard about the warehouse fire. I tried to look for evidence of this and found nothing. I think it might just be last years overstock that Menards bought in bulk.
Dude!! Welcome back! You got me through COVID just beginning to get into vintage BMX your videos were much appreciated.
Thank you! It feels good to be back. I'm glad I could help!

I agree. Plus you wouldn't need all the special spanner wrenches

@@hulkster4374 personally, if I didn’t have a sealed bearing crank on my bike, it would be the first upgrade I would save for
