* Hawkeye's Game Reviews and First Looks **
Over the course of my UA-cam career, I have frequently reviewed and/or taken first looks at either new or unfamiliar games. Some of these games have been ones that I have been wanting to play, some suggested by fellow gamers or viewers, and some as review offers from game developers and/or gaming public relations employees offering free keys. Most of these have been random at best. I have decided to take a more organized approach at these reviews and/or first looks by starting a new series dedicated to that purpose! I will always make certain that links to each game's information are provided in the comments for my viewers/subscribers interest. I will also make certain to provide you with my thoughts regarding the game and how I rate the game base on 1 to 5 stars, 5 being the best ever and 1 being a complete waste of time and money!

THIS WEEKS GAME: PROFESSIONAL FISHING 2!
Rating: 3 stars *** GOOD (Has potential)
I used to have a series with the first installment of this game, but I did not have the time to continue investing in the series as the developers seemed to had stopped supporting it and I had too many other series going on at the time. Apparently they were working on this new, upgraded version! I found it difficult to rate as it is a DEMO, so bugs and other problems are to be expected!
"Professional Fishing 2" is the second installment of an exciting fishing game that takes you into the world of thrilling angling adventures. Step into the shoes of a novice angler, embarking on a journey with simple yet reliable gear. You have an old fishing rod and a reel reminiscent of the nostalgic 80s, with a slice of bread as your bait. To make your expedition more convenient, you also have a landing net and a tent that allows for relaxation and starting the game from any saved location.
The beginnings may be challenging, but as you gain experience and level up, you gradually progress in your fishing prowess. By selling the caught fish, you increase your account balance, enabling you to purchase better equipment and fishing gear. You can choose from various fishing techniques, such as float fishing, spinning, feeder, and many others. Utilize diverse lures, bait, and sonars to enhance your chances of catching bigger and more demanding fish.

Thank you, finally a POV from someone who is a true PC fisherman:). How some of these other blokes got early demo access is a head scratcher, some didn't even know what to do, LOL.
Thanks so much. Yeah, I have been playing various PC fishing games for decades now. Most seem to maintain some consistency in their gameplay.
at 24min 55 sec you can see a bass chase bait out of the water on the right side of the screen if you watch real close

At the 24.02 mark there is a leader showing on the right maybe that is where you change it. I don't know. maybe you did'nt notice it.
I will look again. My eyes are not the best, so I may have missed it!
The main problem with fishing games nowadays is that it is really difficult to do something new or innovative, that would really interest the fishing fans.
It will have to stay day and night too
Any chance this may come to console?
I have not heard, but the fact that there is the capabilty to use a controller is a good sign.

one man dev team, Mastercode, the guy who left UFS2 under a cloud. Be interesting to see his vision of a fishing game.
that's very interesting, is that why ufs2 has had so few updates recently?
@@bertrodgers2420 i suspect the main reason for that is push to rework ufs1 … you do get the impression that ufs2 is definitely on the back burner , they may not be putting all the eggs in the ufs1 basket but seems like most of the eggs

First one looks better to play.

There are some similarities. I am not writing it off just yet. UFS2's demo was very clunky at first too!

Yeah i kinda don't like it too. I mean it has nothing to do with just made out game. It just isnt too good.
