Hard as it may be to believe but the incoming Presidential Elect, Joe Biden now has a career in public office dating back over 44 years! That’s close to double my age! Throughout that entire time, he’s had the nickname: Middle-Class Joe - and has often referred to himself as one of the poorest members of congress. These days, he’s definitely NOT the poorest member of congress with multiple real estate holdings like a few in Delaware and living in lavish homes throughout the years, which we’ll check out in this video. Joe Biden comes from scrappy roots - he was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to a father that suffered a series of financial setbacks, and for a sort-time there at least, Joe wasn’t any different. According to the Wall Street Journal, the reason why Biden was so often at the bottom of the wealth ladder among his other colleagues in the Senate had a lot to do with his life-long obsession for real estate. As he grew older, his net-worth was often in the negatives and by 2007, he was ranked as the least wealthy Senator in the U.S. when his net worth was estimated to be less than $30,000. But today, the 77-year-old Presidential-Elect is far from the middle class. According to a 2019 Forbes estimate, Biden and his wife Jill are now worth as much as $9 Million - much of which was earned from $100,000 speaking fees and $8 Million book deals that came pouring in after his Vice Presidency.

Fun fact: the Biden's first home in Greenville, Delaware, which isn't presented in this video, was off Monchanin Road. It was a fairly ordinary ~2,500sf home, which was worth about $500k when he sold it for almost $1M (to an MBNA executive). The home Joe then purchased is the Greenville home featured in this video on Barley Mill Road, was owned by...you guessed it, an MBNA executive. That MBNA executive sold the home to the Biden's for half its market value. All told, this was Joe's way of accepting approximately $1M in "donations" from MBNA (headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, and Hunter's first employer). By the way, don't feel bad for the MBNA executive who effectively lost $1M during these two transactions. Good ole Charlie Cawley (MBNA CEO) reimbursed him for the full amount!

That applies to many Democratic politicians when they leave office. Book deals paying Democrat politicians in the millions, yet the number of copies sold is in the thousands and don't amount to anything close to a million $$. Major publishing companies are owned by big Democrat donors and sponsors who through their "generosity" have the Democratic gods nicely rewarded. Now those companies take a nice tax deduction for the huge losses they incur from taxes so taxpayers end up paying publishers for lost, unrealized revenue. As for who reads, many college professors assign such books for their courses or include them in the recommended lists, ladies book clubs are urged to include such books, stupid shows like Oprah and The View brainwash mindless viewers to go buy the "best book of the year." On top of everything Biden's campaign committee gave a copy of his book to each of the 1500 guests at the inauguration. The copies were bought by the committee and there's a chance Biden got the profits which would be illegal since none of the money is legally permitted to be used for private gain of the candidates. The whole book deal thing is just a clever scheme.

Thanks for this content! I'd say his homes are fairly modest considering his standing. Humble compared to where he could be living in my opinion.
I'm from Delaware. Single family homes with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths go for $450k in an average neighborhood. He's got a mansion in Greenville. Most lawyers can't afford to live there. It's elite. Some professional athletes live there. Also, my standard size townhouse (3 bed 2.5 bath) is worth over $200k. I haven't kept up with the market lately. A tiny shoebox house not even close to the ocean is almost priceless. His beach house is a mansion that is ocean front and bordering a state park. I'm surprised he doesn't have a house in Bethany. That's really, really elite and expensive, like Malibu or Beverly Hills. Don't be fooled. Small houses are worth several million in certain areas in Delaware. He's got really big mansions in prime areas.
