So just park that statement, and in fact, make a retraction He doesn’t hold a candle to some of the best sportsman of all time.. Eliud Kipchoge - by many heads and shoulders the best athlete/ sportsman to walk the earth. Then we can get into the likes of Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Rapahel Nadal, Usain Bolt, Carl Lewis, Serena Williams, Jack Nicklaus, Steffi Graf, Pele, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton None of these NBA, NHL, MLB people crack any list.
For anyone that grew up in the 90's this house is like a time capsule. The NEC televisions, the landline phones, the cabinetry, the curved walls. The whole house screams 90's luxury. Which is so vastly different to what people consider luxury today.
The untouched lower level was so cool to see, literally like going back in time to see a state of the art, highest end entertainment longue money could be in the year 1995. I love the carpet design, Jordan logo on the ceiling and the LED lights. so cool

Obviously nobody wants to live there or spend that kind of $$$ no matter how Iconic MJ is...plus you could create revenue stream by charging for tours and admission. Rent out the court for hourly price etc. If these ideas are used then I am eligible for $$$ negotiations from MJ's management team. Open to discuss further as I have some of the best ideas that have ever been birthed into the human imagination. I just do not have the resources to pull it off, but my idea's are top tier. For me, even seeing the house back in the 90's it looks like a museum or mausoleum more than a house. I do love the front gates with the 23 & all the land surrounding it.
His house is incredible. Imagine being a kid growing up there. Mind blowing indeed. Museum is the only logical thing I can think of and renting out the guesthouse. It’s beautiful.
Totally what I was thinking. Guest house would be the museum gift shop, sell some vintage Bulls merchandise, jerseys, etc. Jordan could probably get a sizable tax write-off from the little vanity project.
Not to discredit Enes, his work is amazing, but the house has been on the market for a decade, and they’ve cut the price in half since originally listing it. They can’t sell it.
@@harperchic The house is actually timeless, he did a great job with the layout and plans actually the house looks expensive. Some people couldn't even afford it. Maybe that's why it never sold. It's a timeless beauty.
MJ’s mansion should be a museum. Host basketball games in the indoor court during the many cold months outside. Charge people for that and a tour, show clips in the TV room. Rent out to extravagant Bulls fans…
The chicago bulls team should buy this and rent it to their top players or keep it for the team and host camps there! Perfectly set up for team building activities :)

I used to look after the grounds on this property for Michael Jordan, I was also his personal vehicle manager, in charge of looking after all his cars, from 1998 to 2006.. what an experience I had working for Michael & his family 🙏🏻

Never seen anything like it! The recorded sound! I have never heard such clarity. The camera work ..aiming at the various rooms..and the editing, the cuts!! How do they do those cuts? Have never seen such camera work! The quality of the film is better than any. The B rolls, and the footage at the beginning. How on earth did Enes think to do that? I have never seen a video with cuts in the middle…of the subject. Wow I looked at this property when it was first listed but you made it look so much better than just photos. You gave it story and made it feel really special and unique, because it is. So much potential, seems like a steal for the price. Can't imagine what something like this would cost to build now.
You showed this home better than anyone has. At the same time, you’ve shown so many amazing places this one looks sort of bland. If that makes sense as this place is still amazing.
This has to be one of the most impressive estate I've ever seen on any channel. Walking on that hardwood floor were the legendary 23 played, just priceless. Enes, I have to thank you so much for an amazing video and in-depth tutorial. The estate is like a Ritz-Carlton resort.
I worked there as a security guard for a security firm during the lasts few weeks of phases of the finishing of the estate. It was non the less, even more beautiful walking through it. I was at awe standing on the the original CB hard wood floor.
It's "only" a $12Million home. Enes has been in properties worth nearly a $BILLION! But have you ever seen a lawn in such POOR condition in a home with an asking price of $12Mil? That lawn looks like Carl from Caddyshack had at it (and Bushwick was modeled after a golf course from the North SHore near Jordan's home).
I am interested to see ur YT on how these rich atheles assist the many poor, homeless blacks & minorites in US, some have only 1 meal a day. How promoters gives back some of their profits to fans
What's really impressive and impossible not to notice is the attention and work that were invested into the finest details in every bedroom, bathroom, wine cellar, common area, entertainment room, front entrance, kitchen, guest house, etc, etc, etc. Absolutely stunning interior design and construction.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I had no idea as a kid in the 80's and 90's that I was witnessing the greatest player of all time. I just understood that he was really good. Nobody knew back then that he would still hold records decades later.
I'm from Chicago and Highland Park where this house is located is not Chicago. It's not even Cook County.. It's in the rich, wealthy suburbs of Lake County. There is a huge difference. This house has been for sale for what feels like forever and MJ hasn't lived there in over 20+ years. I know parts of it have been "updated" but its still to customized and esp the front door with the cubed glass still looks like its from the 90s. 14 million and you can't even get rid of the furniture to make room for your own furniture in the house? Thats crazy.
It's very possible to put an offer with condition on the furniture. I'm sure it's possible to make a new clause saying it can be sold without mentioning where it came from and without any markups linked previous owner.

The home is really amazing you can actually tell a lot of the stuff was from the '90s based off the color and that architecture and then you can see the little subtle hints of new renovation was crazy how a home can tell you so much about the times I love it ❤️
It's unfortunate the buyer can't get rid of the 90's furniture by selling it. I personally would donate those outdated furnitures as well as those 90's NEC rectangular TV's. The floor on the kitchen needs updating too.

I see properties listed for a small fraction of this one on FB and social media, and to fin out the price you have to message them and do an entire rain dance, and once you contact them, you can never get them to leave you alone. @@freedomm There's mansions more or less expensive than this with indoor basketball court, bowling alley, theater, tennis court, etc and they're not even athletes. Of course, not many people need them, only the rich, important and famous who wants one and has the kind of lifestlye. And to have this lifestyle you know a lot of people too, not just your family. For them it is just enough.
I routinely come back to this listing for inspiration to keep pushing forward but as of the other day it now shows contingency. After all these years they finally got someone who might be buying it.

Insane. I grew up in France and I’ve been a fan since 1996. At this time, from Europe, it was really difficult watching games, reading NBA news etc. So it’s pretty awesome to see where Michael and his family used to live at this time ! It’s like a time capsule. And it also breaks my heart seeing it all empty. Especially the trophy room. I wish the next owner of this mansion would keep it like this, the basketball court is part of basketball history 😍
One day, my wife and I went out looking for a place to live…. We found this beautiful gated community house in Northern California…. The place was gigantic, 2 floors, tons of bathrooms, rooms, one could barely hear anyone else throughout the house… Soooo, we came to a conclusion that the place was too big for a family of four and 2 dogs, with family barely visiting since they live abroad…. It was beautiful!!! Yet, it was dead! No warmth, no closeness…. Sooo, we decided for a smaller place, a place where we could find each other in less than 2 minutes, right on the water, cozy, warmth, we still had a nice back yard, a dock to go out with the kayaks, bbq area…. We were super happy! We were super close to each other…. Great decision…. Sometimes the smaller, the better! Still, Mr. Jordan’s is a beautiful place! Hope he was able to really enjoy it! 🤞🤞🤞🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I agree totally, to each his own , I see no purpose in such a large extravagant home , obviously no one else does either , that's why It's been on the market for fifteen years , in Highland Park , there is a view of Lake Michigan at his back yard
Great display of such a historic home. I use to drive up from Evanston around Sheridan Dr. and take friends to get a picture at the "23" gate when they came to visit. It was great when the team practiced at the Berto Center back in the day also. I worked for Jim Beam and our office building was just up the street so we could see the players parking in the rear when they came to practice. I've always said, If I could ever afford this home, I would use it as corporate space for fortune 500 companies to have retreat week, team building and corporate events. The staff have done a remarkable job up keeping a home that hasn't had residents for such a long time. I heard that the new owner also gets Nike and Jordan gear for life...
And also a pair of new Air Jordans!! I just feel sorry for whoever buys that house next,,, trying to refurnish all 56,000 square feet, remove all the MICHAEL JORDAN stuff, and just make the house look the way he or she wants it to. I'm surprised Michael's buddy OPRAH didn't buy that house. Maybe she toured it but didn't want it.

It is a phenomenal space. It is difficult to show it in such a short period. It is so over the top! I think the primary reason it remains on the market is that, in addition to the cost, taxes and upkeep, it resembles a hotel in nearly every room. That makes sense, given the amount of time MJ spent in hotels. But how many people want to live in a hotel? Also, each room is so insanely customized to MJ's obviously exquisite taste that I think it is difficult to find a single buyer who identifies with it. The home is just so over the top, like the GOAT himself! I grew up not far from here, so the place, MJ and his legacy hold a special place in my heart. Amazing place. Great video.
It’s still available because it’s not a pretty home. For the money people can just build a much prettier home, the only reason to buy it would be fandom and even then it’s hard to justify $14 million to own 1990’s style architecture like that that’s just hideous by today’s standards. It really was the worst decade for architecture, and there’s no way to update it to be pretty without just knocking it down and starting over. Which obviously would defy the purpose of buying it. The contractual restrictions on selling furniture are also ridiculous. Michael Jordan would be better off selling that stuff himself with his signature on it than passing it off to someone else that can’t legally sell it. Loophole though is to “gift” it to a friend who’s not under that contract and split profit haha. Michael Jordan tried and failed to sell this home for $29 million for ten years. Even at $14.5 million it’s still not going to sell. Long story short, for the money everyone out there would just buy something else unless for fandom sake which is a tough sell regardless.
Sorry to disagree with your opinion, but this home hasn’t sold in over 10 years simply because it is not am attractive home especially for the price. Even at half the original list price there are no buyers. Lastly, the idea that Jordan can dictate what someone who can afford a $14M home can do with the furniture that comes with home purchase is off putting to anybody in that income bracket. Anybody who can afford a $14M home isn’t going be a fanboy who will let a former owner dictate what they can do. With property the former owner owns. If this property was indeed so special because Jordan owns it, it would have sold ling ago, but the MJ mystique obviously hasn’t made this home marketable at the prices sought. Just think what it says that a home that cost $50M to build can’t even sell for $14M.
I've seen other videos on this property but this has to be the most detailed of them all. It's an insane piece of property. If you look at the aerial shots at the end, you can see how small the other mansions surrounding this are. Just gives you the scope and size of how large this property and house are. I live in Illinois and i stay roughly20-25 minutes away from this house and the one reason why i think this house will never be sold is this there going to treat his house like they did micheal jacksons house in gary Indiana its going to become a national landmark almost like the bears stadium he'll never be able to sell this 🏠 because of that reason alone i don't care if he sold the house for 500,000$ he won't be able to sell it in 20 years some way some how its going to become a national landmark of some sort just wait till after he passes in to another life in the spirit

This place not a home but a shrine especially e.g. MJ logo everyhere, design details for him alone& as stated on the sale none of the furniture can ever be sold! The idea for Chicago organizaton by it use it first as training, club events, etc best idea 1% or less would be interested buying this at any price! Again if it ca'nt be altered? removed? better have storage some where!
Perhaps that house would work better as Jordan's personal museum or something like that, it is so customised but also an architectural peace from the 90s, all those circular shapes and woodwork are really cool but I don't know who in the world needs it.

If your suggestion was a financial or practical viability, Jordan could do that himself, as he doesn’t appear to need the money he has sunk into this property since he has had it up for sale for over 10 years with no buyers in sight. Given that it cost him $50M to build and it is now being marketed for sale at $14M, donating the home as a non-profit museum would probably better financially for Jordan given that a sale would yield less than the $14M current list price.

Doesn't even have to just be a house for touring. It could rented for events. Add a gift shop. They could add a shoe store on that property! There's plenty of room to cover parking. Open to discuss further as I have some of the best ideas that have ever been birthed into the human imagination. I just do not have the resources to pull it off, but my idea's are top tier. For me, even seeing the house back in the 90's it looks like a museum or mausoleum more than a house. I do love the front gates with the 23 & all the land surrounding it.
His house is incredible. Imagine being a kid growing up there. Mind blowing indeed. Museum is the only logical thing I can think of and renting out the guesthouse. It’s beautiful.
Totally what I was thinking. Guest house would be the museum gift shop, sell some vintage Bulls merchandise, jerseys, etc. Jordan could probably get a sizable tax write-off from the little vanity project.

Never seen anything like it! The recorded sound! I have never heard such clarity. The camera work ..aiming at the various rooms..and the editing, the cuts!! How do they do those cuts? Have never seen such camera work! The quality of the film is better than any. The B rolls, and the footage at the beginning. How on earth did Enes think to do that? I have never seen a video with cuts in the middle…of the subject. This has to be one of the most impressive estate I've ever seen on any channel. Walking on that hardwood floor were the legendary 23 played, just priceless. Enes, I have to thank you so much for an amazing video and in-depth tutorial. The estate is like a Ritz-Carlton resort.

I worked there as a security guard for a security firm during the lasts few weeks of phases of the finishing of the estate. It was non the less, even more beautiful walking through it. I was at awe standing on the the original CB hard wood floor.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I had no idea as a kid in the 80's and 90's that I was witnessing the greatest player of all time. I just understood that he was really good. Nobody knew back then that he would still hold records decades later.
I'm from Chicago and Highland Park where this house is located is not Chicago. It's not even Cook County.. It's in the rich, wealthy suburbs of Lake County. There is a huge difference. This house has been for sale for what feels like forever and MJ hasn't lived there in over 20+ years. I know parts of it have been "updated" but its still to customized and esp the front door with the cubed glass still looks like its from the 90s. 14 million and you can't even get rid of the furniture to make room for your own furniture in the house? Thats crazy.

It's very possible to put an offer with condition on the furniture. I'm sure it's possible to make a new clause saying it can be sold without mentioning where it came from and without any markups linked previous owner.

The home is really amazing you can actually tell a lot of the stuff was from the '90s based off the color and that architecture and then you can see the little subtle hints of new renovation was crazy how a home can tell you so much about the times I love it ❤️
Shockingly, they left the kitchen flooring tiles -- the small scale of the tile is really an eyesore for such an expensive property.
It's unfortunate the buyer can't get rid of the 90's furniture by selling it. I personally would donate those outdated furnitures as well as those 90's NEC rectangular TV's. The floor on the kitchen needs updating too.

At this time, from Europe, it was really difficult watching games, reading NBA news etc. So it’s pretty awesome to see where Michael and his family used to live at this time ! It’s like a time capsule. And it also breaks my heart seeing it all empty. Especially the trophy room. One day, my wife and I went out looking for a place to live…. We found this beautiful gated community house in Northern California…. The place was gigantic, 2 floors, tons of bathrooms, rooms, one could barely hear anyone else throughout the house…
Soooo, we came to a conclusion that the place was too big for a family of four and 2 dogs, with family barely visiting since they live abroad….
It was beautiful!!! Yet, it was dead! No warmth, no closeness…. Sooo, we decided for a smaller place, a place where we could find each other in less than 2 minutes, right on the water, cozy, warmth, we still had a nice back yard, a dock to go out with the kayaks, bbq area…. We were super happy! We were super close to each other…. Great decision…. Sometimes the smaller, the better! Still, Mr. Jordan’s is a beautiful place! Hope he was able to really enjoy it! 🤞🤞🤞🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Great display of such a historic home. I use to drive up from Evanston around Sheridan Dr. and take friends to get a picture at the "23" gate when they came to visit. It was great when the team practiced at the Berto Center back in the day also. I worked for Jim Beam and our office building was just up the street so we could see the players parking in the rear when they came to practice. I've always said, If I could ever afford this home, I would use it as corporate space for fortune 500 companies to have retreat week, team building and corporate events. The staff have done a remarkable job up keeping a home that hasn't had residents for such a long time. I heard that the new owner also gets Nike and Jordan gear for life...
And also a pair of new Air Jordans!! I just feel sorry for whoever buys that house next,,, trying to refurnish all 56,000 square feet, remove all the MICHAEL JORDAN stuff, and just make the house look the way he or she wants it to. I'm surprised Michael's buddy OPRAH didn't buy that house. Maybe she toured it but didn't want it.

It is a phenomenal space. It is difficult to show it in such a short period. It is so over the top! I think the primary reason it remains on the market is that, in addition to the cost, taxes and upkeep, it resembles a hotel in nearly every room. That makes sense, given the amount of time MJ spent in hotels. But how many people want to live in a hotel? Also, each room is so insanely customized to MJ's obviously exquisite taste that I think it is difficult to find a single buyer who identifies with it. The home is just so over the top, like the GOAT himself! I grew up not far from here, so the place, MJ and his legacy hold a special place in my heart. Amazing place. Great video.

It’s still available because it’s not a pretty home. For the money people can just build a much prettier home, the only reason to buy it would be fandom and even then it’s hard to justify $14 million to own 1990’s style architecture like that that’s just hideous by today’s standards.
It really was the worst decade for architecture, and there’s no way to update it to be pretty without just knocking it down and starting over. Which obviously would defy the purpose of buying it. The contractual restrictions on selling furniture are also ridiculous. Michael Jordan would be better off selling that stuff himself with his signature on it than passing it off to someone else that can’t legally sell it. Loophole though is to “gift” it to a friend who’s not under that contract and split profit haha.
Michael Jordan tried and failed to sell this home for $29 million for ten years. Even at $14.5 million it’s still not going to sell. Long story short, for the money everyone out there would just buy something else unless for fandom sake which is a tough sell regardless.
Sorry to disagree with your opinion, but this home hasn’t sold in over 10 years simply because it is not am attractive home especially for the price. Even at half the original list price there are no buyers. Lastly, the idea that Jordan can dictate what someone who can afford a $14M home can do with the furniture that comes with home purchase is off putting to anybody in that income bracket. Anybody who can afford a $14M home isn’t going be a fanboy who will let a former owner dictate what they can do. With property the former owner owns. If this property was indeed so special because Jordan owns it, it would have sold ling ago, but the MJ mystique obviously hasn’t made this home marketable at the prices sought. Just think what it says that a home that cost $50M to build can’t even sell for $14M.

I've seen other videos on this property but this has to be the most detailed of them all. It's an insane piece of property. If you look at the aerial shots at the end, you can see how small the other mansions surrounding this are. Just gives you the scope and size of how large this property and house are. Thank you for giving us this awesome tour.

I live in Illinois and i stay roughly20-25 minutes away from this house and the one reason why i think this house will never be sold is this there going to treat his house like they did micheal jacksons house in gary Indiana its going to become a national landmark almost like the bears stadium he'll never be able to sell this 🏠 because of that reason alone i don't care if he sold the house for 500,000$ he won't be able to sell it in 20 years some way some how its going to become a national landmark of some sort just wait till after he passes in to another life in the spirit

The house has been for sale for 10 years... a great demonstration of super luxe custom homes- the person who builds it is the only one who loves it (or maybe can afford it).

Perhaps that house would work better as Jordan's personal museum or something like that, it is so customised but also an architectural peace from the 90s, all those circular shapes and woodwork are really cool but I don't know who in the world needs it.

I love this channel and I liked the tour..but ngl that's why I found the title a lil bit clickbait-ish. "Michael Jordan's former residence" ..something like that ...would have been a better title Imo. As you said, nobody wants to buy the house for now, so I guess that’s technically still his mansion ..but yeah you're correct.

If your suggestion was a financial or practical viability, Jordan could do that himself, as he doesn’t appear to need the money he has sunk into this property since he has had it up for sale for over 10 years with no buyers in sight. Given that it cost him $50M to build and it is now being marketed for sale at $14M, donating the home as a non-profit museum would probably better financially for Jordan given that a sale would yield less than the $14M current list price.

Doesn't even have to just be a house for touring. It could rented for events. Add a gift shop. They could add a shoe store on that property! There's plenty of room to cover parking. That house is a money making machine
