I wore my first time getting invited to church what I THOUGHT was acceptable tshirt body suit with a knee length tulle skirt some sandals something simple WELL soon as I sat down I felt Sooo uncomfortable!! My best friend who invited me said is fine is my first time going but I told her nah girl I feel naked spent the entire evening pulling my skirt hoping it will cover me more never worn that skirt ever again to church. I looked on the mirror and everything before leaving but nah,God was telling me try again.. because he doesn’t approve.
The dress itself is flattering on you! It isn’t just the length it is also the plunge neckline. It isn’t difficult to dress modestly. The best policy is the dress or skirt shouldn’t fall below the knees when sitting down. That is the best reference. I still don’t know why it is hard for women to know this.

I don’t think it’s the length of the dress, I think it’s the shoes that are more the issue
If you have wide hips and a large or round butt, tight fitted dresses tend to rise up as you walk and move. You have to always take that to account.

If you are in doubt,, it’s best to don’t wear it out
I think a good rule of thumb is to make sure any skirt or dress covers your knees when u sit
If you get to ask yourself, then the dress is definitely short
