Mob Enforcer is a 2004 Mafia-related PC game. It was released on the Xbox one year later with multiplayer capabilities under the title Chicago Enforcer.
GameZone had a mixed review for the PC version, finding it entertaining for the effective gameplay, non-linear approach and authentic 1920s recreation, but criticized the lack of creativity and unforgiving enemies, stating that "the game gets repetitive and frustrating." The Xbox port, however, had a much more negative reception.
GameSpot gave the game a 2.3 out of 10, finding it a repetitive and ugly game, with broken gameplay that featured "AI either overpowered or underpowered" and "underwhelming weapons". IGN gave a 4.1, with the review reading that "Any fun that could be squeezed out of this poorly designed title is negated by long loading times and unbalanced game mechanics."
TeamXbox was more forgiving with a 5.1, feeling that "some situations created by the AI are interesting and do a nice job of reflecting the style of gunplay that would have taken place during the 1930’s". - Ігри
I apologize in advance for my terrible voice impressions.
You owe us atleast 5 shwacked jokes.
I want money
I'm 100% Italian and 25% French and I'm offended that you apologized. Never ever apologize. PAISAN!!!!!!!!
Gave me a nais little chuckle
That's more accurate than that one JTF guy from the division with the mob boss talk.
Aussie guy impersonating Italian mafioso.
Prime time of English language.
滝川洋平 truly a wild time to be alive.
Oi bruv I'm Walkin 'ere!
@@xmm-cf5eg That's a London accent.
Chinese man being able to use UA-cam through a VPN. Prime time of China.
@Viktor Turtle I meant of Australian guy Aussie.
I'm always impressed how many janky, charming and terrible FPS' still out there, hidden among the filth
I'm making a marathon playing all FPS that i can get that launched for PC from 2000 until now (some games is impossible to get because they just vanish from the face of the earth), and i know exaclty what ou saying, actually, the world of low budget fps is the deepweb of the FPS
Plus no microtransactions, loot boxes (I mean "Surprise Mechanics"), season passes, cut content for dlc or pre order bonuses, and no political baloney.
Genome Soldat it’s not an invasion it’s surprise democracy
I played through Nitro Family off the back of his review. It was awful.
@Lucas-Enigma, Civvie11 recently covered a Russian made jank FPS called 'Kreed.'
Makes Chicago Enforcer look like an 8/10 game by comparison.
I know youre a decently popular reviewer, but I didn't know you had the budget to star the real Robert DeNiro in your review
Came for the 'SHIET', stayed for the American-Italian accent.
Liked for the DSP laugh.
CHIEcago enforser
I came for the "SCHWACKED!"

When Gman of all people, a man who plays some of the worst games of all time just to torture himself, calls this game the worst of the worst, you know he's right.
I first played this game when I was like 10 years old, and it was a mind blowing experience. It was actually quite frustrating sometimes, but I got through the game. I still don't understand what the icepick was used for in the game....melee? It didnt even happen...not even once!
"Let me just subtly place this giant bag with dollar bills hanging out of it on the police chief's desk, I'm sure no one will say anything."
"Then I'm going downstairs to the cells and gun down a prisoner. No one will ever connect the two."
Dude, you should have ended with the review with "hey, forgettabout this game"
Total wasted opportunity :D
oh shut up
😆😂🤣xD
tbh the ending he had was pretty good,
Next: The Stalin Subway
Yes
Oh fuck yes. That game has such janky bunnyhopping.
Stalin Subway is nothing. He should review Modern Warrior Special Tactics aka Specnaz 2
I like how it has ballistics for frag grenades, and it has bullet curves, but for whatever reason they're inversed (if you're far away you need to shoot below the target to hit it).
It's lots of fun, when it's not crashing.
Make that 'Stalin Subway 2' !
:)
They just stole NOLF 2 assets??
Yeah man It's identical
You can tell it's the same engine after watching the bodies falling downstaits mechanics.
If they licensed the engine legally - which I assume is the case - there was probably some free assets included. But regardless it's lazy to not even bother to reskin it to make it look somewhat different / unique to this game.
Seems like they made the M1911A1 and BAR models, and recolored the sniper rifle.
The HUD is more like NOLF 1.
You've just got to love those jabs at DSP you keep throwing in every so often.
Nothing he could do dood
Why am I toxic?
DSP is so gout ridden he doesn't even feel it
@@buttpiratesbuttpirate5913 his diabetes killed all feeling in his foot or he would be writhing in pain from super gout
@@DixieSchizo god, super gout. Couldn't even imagine. He probably doesn't even know he has super gout, poor bastard
Sees default No one lives forever UI
YEAAA this one is gonna be good
I saw you 2 years ago on some comment lol
Khorkhi how the fuck do you remember
What is it with you and DSP 1:21 hahaha do you have some sort of love-hate-relationship with him?
He probably used dsps video
Omg, the ackackack is everywhere now! haaaaaaalp!
Mob enforcer actually sounds like a badass game if it was done correctly, something similar to the hitman series with less sneaking and more shooting
I mean in hitman, you can still get through every level by shooting your way through
I never thought I'd hear an Australian do an Andrew Dice Clay impression. It was beautiful. My life is complete now.
Video game logic.
Police: *Gun fire being aim at a defenseless person* Eh nothing to see here.
Police: *Seeing the person arming himself* wait that is illegal.
It's literally the antithesis of U.S. law
"That's all you're gettin', _beach!"_
(Cue Tourette's guy sound)
Lmao the mix of an Australian accent and a mobster Italian accent just comes out sounding South African.
"Ey Needles, Merry Christmas, you filthy animal!" *BRRRAPAPAPRRRRRAP*
"...And a Happy New Year."
I'm a midwest rube but Whenever I swear in Itallian-American I do it with Joe Pesci's voice.
I would "recommend" WW2 Combat: Road to Berlin/Iwo Jima. A pair of low budget ww2 fps games on a similar level of jank.
now that gave me some flashbacks!
I love how your videos just... end. No frills, just a final line and a fade to black. Good shit
I used to love this game, reminds me of when my mom would watch me play. I miss her, died 2 years ago. :/
I offer my sincerest condolences.
I love how you went through the entire game in this video. Absolutely hilarious.
Despite the jank, these wonky games have more charm than some recent AAA games.
Was about to say. This seems better than Young Blood to which he was very lenient imo.
Cassius Allen YB is puke inducing.
WTF was Machinegames thinking with the slant that they gave to BJ's story arc??
@@main_stream_media_is_a_joke Not to cry bloody murder but I suspect the same that has been happening with a whole bunch of entertainment media. This infestation of micro transactions being the core while story and game mechanics are built around it.
Just heard they had a patch stopping people from levelling up faster. But ignore other obvious faults.
Cassius Allen Consumers who pre order, purchase the product day 1, week 1 are the reason why this nonsense is so prevalent.
Seriously why can't people just wait for 1 week BEFORE making any purchase descision?
The major AAA publishers know their consumers impulsive mindset VERY WELL, so these shenanigans keep morphing and take even more crazy forms.
The number of high quality old(ish) games that most of us have pretty much ensure that we can't be held hostage to the new game monetization nonsense.
It's kids with daddy's credit card within easy reach and "whales" who are the target.
It will be very interesting to see what happens to the AAA gaming scene in the coming years.
At least it's entertaining
Damn after watching this review, I kinda want to pop in Mafia 2 for some reason. Has anyone play Mafia 2? such a good game and very underrated. Oh btw thanks for the video GMan
Mafia 2 is good but after playing the original mafia you wont want to play 2 again
It's a good game but the first half of the game si more like a walking/driving simulator and it lacks action, dont get me wrong i liked the game only i expected more action from it.
@@ggthtrhr you are right about the first part but i think the slow starts helps to create a better expiriance
This game felt like it was trying to be the next Mafia game, but failing hard. It makes me want to try Mafia.
@@yuvalcohen356 i agree, it helps with the story and all but the game was short and from what i know they scraped so many good ideas out of the game. They included some missions in the DLC's
DarksydePhil's laugh in the beginning LMAO
The one good part is that the voice actor of Dimitri - yeah, that Dimitri from Sly Cooper - was in this game.
"Hey Needles, have some of my homemade alfredo sauce straight from the tap!"
I would love to hear your thoughts on Shellshock 2
TrollParty97 yeah boy
DSP's laugh should be in every game when you snuff it.
Mmm... Gonads, syrup, and fireants in the same sentence.
Ah, the memories.
Trying to think of FPS games from my childhood to recommend but you've reviewed literally all of them...
die hard vendetta
Any chance you could review Armed and Dangerous? It was a third person shooter on original xbox with wacky weapons. Thanks sonnny jim.
I see that cumulative playthrough of these kind of games made you deranged.
Pls more content like this
"Drinking food colouring then marvelling that your piss is a different shade of yellow" Am in hysterics
Over the years your videos have improved so much, it’s been such a journey to see your transformation
Mob Enforcer: I am a bad game
Hunt Down The Freeman: hold my beer
This was the first PC game I had played in my own PC, along with Counter Strike Condition Zero Deleted Scenes. Back then, I really enjoyed these games. Now looking back while watching this review made me realise how lackluster they really were. Thanks a lot for this unusual retro review. This game still has some old charm and one of my favourite main menu soundtracks.
Even those “Slenderman Must Die” games are better.
Fun Fact, Touchdown Entertainment was the subsidiary of Monolith Productions that handled the development and licensing of the LithTech Engine until they closed down in the early-2010s, a couple of years after Monolith was bought out by Warner Bros.
Mob Enforcer was also the only game that they developed.
Damn, now I want to hear a full review with that great voice impression of yours.
Bought this for the Xbox when I was a young lad in love with gangster movies and the like. Pretty spot on review; I remember being really weirded out by the lack of music.
At least I only payed 5 bucks
You did an impression of an Aussie gangster, an Italian American gangster, then just a straight ethnically Italian gangster. Day made.
I love the comedy in your videos, they're getting better after each upload
Nice to see go deeper and deeper into FPS shooters. As a fan i digged and tried soo many of them. Most really bad, still trying enjoy somehow, but not completing most of them. But you mate, finishing and making awesome reviews! Keep up with a good work, there is many old less known, even almost unknown shooters to shoot!
Great Vid man. Die Hard Vendetta next? Or Legendary?
0:21 I thought you said "The *Sheet*cago Enforcer" when I first heard that.
When you said “Chicago Enforcer” it sounded like “Shit Cargo Enforcer”
At first I thought he did that on purpose lol
Best bit of the video was repeatedly smacking Needles. Ay, Pachino~!
Also the jabs at DSP. He's an awful, awful, awful cretin.
Epic review, all the impressions and the Andrew Dice Clay bit were gold :D
Yo man love your videos !! Question! How did you make your epic intro ???
Used a template.
@@Gggmanlives was it one you got online if it was is it OK if you can point me to where you got it from cos its really well done
Looool that goodfella impression was perfect! Don't know you had it in you Gman.
So just keep being this great in your videos and I'll be here watching
Mate the voice impressions are fucking great! I love your content, keep it up!

*_Bugged laughter mechanics_*
Would be great to do a video about Mortyr series (The mirage media ones). The first one capped a 30fps to not running it in a ridiculously fast speed in a modern PC
Thanks Gman. I'm now off to the shops for several bottles of blue food colouring.
I remember reading a review for this in (I think) game informer back in high school (around 2004). It was memorable to me because it was the first time I really saw someone write a game review in a magazine that thoroughly trashed the game. The guy called it a steaming pile of shit. It was glorious.
Hearing gman say Chicago made me cheer. So you lookin for a good time gman hehe
The impressions made this video for me. Thank you for uploading this you wonderful bastard.
I'm still waiting on NOLF3. God damn I love the first 2 games.
never gonna happen, not these day where politics leaks everywhere
not in modern world where comedy is dead and humor is dry&edgy
NOLF have style that no AAA (and most indies) would recreate in a million years
About as likely as fear 4
Nope, not gonna happen. Monolith Productions is not the same company who made NOLF, Fear, Blood, AVP2, Condemned, and Shogo.
Most of the devs responsible for those games left Monolith. And everything went downhill after Warner Bros bought Monolith.
No way they'd allow them to make a solid single player game free of greed, politics, and bad game design now.
It's also important to note that the IP is lost in oblivion. Nightdive tried to get the rights and got nowhere.
You gotta review Project IGI and IGI2. Worth getting into.
"heya needles, get a load-a this enforsah!"
Oh yeah another video from my favourite world class voice actor! 😆
This was one of the best reviews you've ever done, I laughed so many times
Yooo Vinneeeyyy... Getta loadda dis!
I'd really love to know your opinion on this obscure game called 'Great Qin Warriors' Sonny Jim.
Touchdown (Monolith)...AKA the guys that made SHOGO and FEAR....Da Fuq?
Pro NOLF when Gmanlives?!
' you are empty' should definitely be your next pick, i kind of love it though :-) anyway, great reviews, mandatory by now, you're by far the next best avgn
Hey Gman, what’s your discord, I would like some help with what’s needed for my game and ideas that the player have would like
Tf were those impressions, Im use too terrible accents being from nyc but that was something else gman
Sort of heard of this game. Thanks for covering it. I got DarkWatch for my PS2 the other day because of your review of it
Your Italian-American sounds like Ninja from Die Antwood 😆👍
The way they fall down the stairs at 0:35 is actually pretty cool, tbh. Much better than in most games where they just slide down them like its a ramp
You should review Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon. It is fantastic! I wanna hear your thoughts on it.
Ok I'll make a deal with you, NEVER do a Chicago accent again and I'll never do an Aussie accent. Deal?
You should become a professional voice actor
I found this game when trying to find something similar to the old NOLF and NOLF2 feeling for FPS games and did several speedruns of it.
I do enjoy going fast in this game as it is actually harder than one think, mostly due to the amount of enemies and the damage they deal.
Is that new intro inspired from Phantom Fury coming out soon?
I always smile when Gman put Dsp laugh in his videos.
That DSP laugh , freaking hilarious
Play "Sniper: Path of Vengeance". It's like this one, but more buggy and absurd.
Definitely worth a try!
it would be really cool to see an old school style FPS with you as gangster fighting the cops/organized criminals. lots of potential for cool old school style secrets in a mafia run area.
Hey, quick question. Can we expect reviews for Red Faction Guerrilla and Armageddon somwhere in the future, be it near or far? Or are you not interested in those games?
Probably not.
I loved this game when I was a kid, it mystified the mobster legend. But as I have gotten older I often think about this game, it is shite, which is sad. I really enjoyed the whole I am a right hand man aspect of the game, but after playing really good shooters such as DOOM. I've come to realize this game is nothing like it.
Same. I loved being Al Capone's right hand man. The gameplay was kinda shit I know.
Are this guys using some sound effects from Shogo, they never bothered to remove the blip sounds of the notifications
LoL I remember starting this game in some internet gaming cafe back in the day.
Quit on the first level, I don't think I even killed somebody.
Wish, you can do a review on Ubersoldier soon in the future.
I love seeing what weird janky ass games I've never played.
You should try a game called You Are Empty lol.
"Hey Needles, it's-a muh balls in ya mouth." I died.😂
At 2:27 I love how the guy phases through the door and then kicks it open.
This makes Contract JACK look like a masterpiece
except contract jack wasnt all that bad
it was even my childhood
Lol, "look at how they massacred my boy." That shit cracked me up.
that limp song reminding me of playing Half-Life death match where u type in words which played that as a taunt
I remember playing this at a friend's house when i was in school and we enjoyed it, but back then we didn't knew any better lol
how were they able to use the same models from no one lives forever 2? were they made by the same developers?
Is this the same engine that the one game called Contract Jack ran on?
Dude, you are a genious. I enjoyed like crazy watching this video. Laughed myself out. And, your impresions are awesome!
Is that game Guns and canolli any good
