- Just made this quick, didn't realize the close up of the install was out of focus. Hope this helps but if not, I can redo the video in focus. I mainly just wanted to show the size difference between the two housings.

Thanks dude, this was literally the exact video I was looking for. I run the Fast Eddie XL, but looking to replace the housing with the UV3 and wasn’t sure how it would work. Perfect video!
I run the same sight and just ordered my UV3. Did everything workout for you on it?

Thanks, my UV3XL arrives today and I wasn't sure how to get the scope off my Fast Eddie, was really tight and was worried about breaking it. Came off with a bit of persuasion, but it was really tight and even shaved a little metal off the end of the rod so I filed it down smooth again.
You need to flip your rod around. It fits perfectly in the scope housing.

Where did you get the scope rode from ? I have the Fast Eddie XL where can I find the scope rode in 0.375 ?
UV3 is great for night shooting 🌙👌🏿. Only scope that lites the lvl, that I know of.

I have the spot Hogg fast Eddie xl sight and I want to put the uv 3 xl sight on mine. Cool video
Im running a stock fast eddie xl and start to get clearance issues with my feathers around 75-80 yards. any chance this scope upgrade would help with clearance on the bottom side or is it just smaller on the topside?
So I guess my question is.. if you were to take a 2 pin fast Eddie XL.. and you swapped it out for a 2 pin UV3 hunting scope. Would the dual pin indicator on the wheel have the ability to be adjusted to show the positions of the top and bottom pin on the UV3 properly on your sight tape?
That's a very good question. Funny you ask that because I just got the new UV3XL double pin in the mail today and I'll be figuring out that answer soon enough.
@@thedeercamp I did the exact same. I haven't been home yet to physically see it. I THINK they are both 1/4" between pins on both scopes.. but I could be pulling that out of my ass. Kind of hoping that is in fact the case
The spacing between the pins on the UV3XL is the same as the Spot Hogg pins. It’ll work perfectly.

little late here, but do you happen to know if the double pin uv3 would line up with the two indicators for you sight tape?
So you don't need to buy the bar also?
Scope barrel needs to be flipped and it will key in to the UV housing and you wouldn't have needed all that extra stuff, pliers included.
Hope you saw the comments saying you need to flip the scope rod. It's backwards
Yes I see what you mean now. I bought this spot Hogg used and this is how it came. I wouldn’t say I necessarily “need to” flip the scope rod as it still does the job the way it is. But yes thank you.
Works a lot better with the shrewd scope rod.
Was looking at the shrewd rod and the one from Nock on. Does the one from Shrewd come with anything other than the rod itself?

Better construction. Pin is brighter.
It lights the lvl, only scope on market that does that for night shooting
Smaller scope. My xl 2 pin is huge and obstructed
