Ive been watching alot of these types of videos recently in preparation for Christmas but I have one important question, when recording from the quest 3’s build in video recorder, does the audio still get delayed if you record for a long time? That’s become a huge issue I’ve been havung on my quest 2 recently
I did have that issue with the quest 2 on long recorded gameplays. I haven't had the same issue with the quest 3 yet. However, it does seem from looking on reddit and other places that some people are having this issue with a few games, but not many.
It’s Definitely an upgrade but when it comes to pcvr it’s barely noticeable. The fov being better is nice but it’s definitely not like a game changer. One thing that annoys me is due to the tilt of the screens some straight lines have jaggies and movement in the edges. I was definitely not blown away with the pcvr upgrade. I’m thinking of getting a big screen beyond but maybe I’m just looking to be wowed again like I was the first time I tried pcvr and I’m chasing the dragon. Maybe I should just wait to see if valve ever releases a new headset
Hi there my meta quest 2 is having lots of problem when i put in my passcode it instantly says oculus utilities stopped working and socialstudy has stoppen working and then it restarts do you know anything i can do?
Good review. I will say the Quest 3 looks better in all games due to the lens and sharpness. The Quest 2 freznel lens are fuzzy except for the very center. Quest 3 colors look better. Menu's look sharper. After using the 3, there is no way I could go back to the 2. For $500, the Quest 3 rivals $1000 headsets on visual quality and features, especially on PCVR for the price.
Good that you mentioned the battery life vs use case. There are people complaining about short battery, but they are gaming, with pass through and recording at the same time. What do they expect? I am fine with 2.4 hours for gaming.
Yes, I think one of the main issues is that Meta advertise 2.4 hours for gaming but they also say 1.5 hours for productivity ( which basically means anything that uses mixed reality pretty much ) so suddenly battery life can now be under 2 hours for gaming and then people complain about it. It’s a lot of optimistic marketing from Meta that’s causing this. It’s still a great headset though.

250$ for Quest 2 is a no brainer! I only need VR for PC (: Quest 3 is waste of $$$

You’ve got the same weather as Sweden. 😂

Yeah, tbh, I don't see myself doing passthrough much... I think I'd be fine.
