      You mean the great part of having to defend yourself? This is a luxury many give away.
      We live in the safest era of all time with minimal dangers. So comfortable people have become complacent fat lazy people.
      Stay sharp and ready, always. Go for that run you hate. Do that workout you wish you could do. Be better than yesterday

      @@baldieman64 True, but the law is a little vague and you need to know how to deal with questions. Never accept it has a defensive purpose. It's a window breaker/just a good, solid pen. "What on earth could I do with that?" "That never occurred to me, blimey - I'd have on my toes - I wouldn't ponce around going 'en guard' trying to use a pen!" etc.You can't carry a weapon, but you are entitled to use "proportionate force" - so if someone has a weapon, you can pick whatever is useful nearby e.g. a decorative axe, poker, lump of concrete or whatever.

    The knife tells u how to wield it however you happen to grab it in the heat of the moment. No overthinking. Just train with a knife and dig and claw with it, using same motor skills as bare hand fighting (hammer fist, in this case) with constant forward pressure. Cant be different. It is like a canine. Same principles apply. No telegraphing, surprise, speed, violence of action. Simple. Mindset is EVERYTHING, no swiping, large movements. Keep it tight. And train, with whatever tool you intend to use. Even if it is a pepperspray.

      CAUTION, where I live, ANYTHING you carry as a weapon is considered a weapon by law enforcement and the courts. If you are put in a position where you must defend yourself or others, your ‘tools’ will be scrutinized and you will be asked if you are carrying it as a weapon. Be Very careful how you verbalize your answers. Sadly the laws that are designed to protect us can and Will be used against you. You Must be able to explain why you had to do what you did and show the inability to escape. Please don’t get sucked into trouble because someone called you a (fill in offensive word). Be smart, be safe and enjoy a good life(without a felony record)

      Don’t listen to this advice people. Your mobile is a lifesaving, incredibly valuable mean for communication in an emergency situation. You protect that communication device, you do not use it as a bludgeoning tool. Same goes for keys.

    I once put a vape pen through someones eye socket. I stood there and smiled and just let them have their adrenaline dump but as soon as something metallic came out of their pocket i'm afraid it was open season. Unfortunately it just seems lately that everyone wants to fight. Every one seems so hyper vigilant and defensive and so angry and frustrated. If you look at the big picture, its a failed society causing this spiral in the country. Failures right from the beginning of a persons life in schools. Not having a syllabus in the last school year which teaches basic law and psychology leading to testosterone fuelled teens oblivious to the ramifications of their actions or not being able to communicate or recognise someone who is clearly unwell. New crime up 48% (people who have never broken he law before and now resorting to shoplifting and other forms of theft/violence) A country which doesnt properly psychologically vet police officers which has in essence created an arena out there of Power drunk Psychopaths in uniform vs Sociopaths. They say empires only last a maximum of 250 years before they are brought down by the very ones they have oppressed such as the Roman Empire brought down by the barbarians. I honestly believe we are on the cusp of a worrying dynamic where no one wants to go out and even your Tesco deliveries will be in armoured vehicles. Every day I wear large style music headphones wherever i go in public so I dont have to have dialogue with anyone or hear any comments from some sub-moron who is out to alpha test others until eventually by the laws of probability will receive their Karma by simply choosing the wrong person. Last days of Rome as they say. Unfortunately we also live on a putrid backwards little island where the law is for sale and appears to have a penchant for criminalising everybody, even those who are just defending themselves. Perhaps through the distrust of the law and the masonic muppets supposedly upholding it, we are heading to a point where people no longer report intruders taking the room temperature challenge and just triple bag them before leaving them in the dustbin for collection.

    • @17losttrout
      @17losttrout Рік тому +4

      Just make sure you don't accept that it has a defensive purpose. "It's a pen! What could I do with that?" "That never occurred to me...I can't see that being of any use" etc - because the law is such that items are either Offensive per se (designed to be e.g. knives, k dusters and clubs etc, or they become offensive , e.g. you can carry a milk bottle you find because you're going to get petrol for your moped, but if you say "It's a dodgy area, there are a lot of muggings around here and I don't want to get robbed" you are making and admitting it is a weapon. There are some great tactical pen/window breakers out there.

      Knife crime was largest in west Midlands which had 152 knife offences per 100,000 people.
      A crazy thing to mention is that juveniles made up almost 20% of all offences last year.

      None, same as all commonwealth countries... we have been unlawfully restricted for any means of self protection against armed enemies! You can carry a small folding knife of less than 3.5 inches as long as it doesn't lock out! Unless of course you are a street criminal in which case you can carry what you like because no one, including the cops and courts gives a fuck. All part of an inverted agenda!
