here is my long term review of the #hoka speedgoat 5 after 400 miles. to be honest they are in very good condition but there is a few things wrong with it.

I used to wear Altras, in Hoka I went for the Speedgoat 5 in the Wide version it really does make a difference.

Wasn't available for me when I bought it unfortunately. What do you think of altars as I have never wore them

​@@leerunsultras I've been using Altras for about 6 years now and lately their line-up is quite a mess. Uppers don't last over a few hundred kms; Foot box volume changes between versions of the same shoe; Rubber grip is inconsistent between models.
Right now I'm leaning more towards Hoka and Topo Athletic as their shoes seem to last longer than most Altras.
BUT one model from Altra I will probably try in the near future is the Timp 5. I feel like it's their best model, and the 5th edition has Vibram rubber so I think it has potential.

Both really comfy and tough 👍🏼

Even in a wide speedgoats really mashed up my feet. Just done 100k in brooks caldera 7s, fantastic
