I have installed these on my Z900RS Cafe as I found original Kawasaki pegs too narrow and uncomfortable on long rides. I was hoping on achieving lower height but even at lowest cam setting they are at same height as original (measured) . I have not yet tried removing rubber insert and/or rearward setting in order to improve leg room. Mine are tilted forward. Bottom line I’m very pleased with improved comfort and quality of kit.
How very strange (and annoying)! On the Honda they were a good 5-10 mm lower and then another 10mm lower without the rubber. I personally found that they pushed the foot position too far outwards to be able to reach the controls on my bike. I'm sure this isn't the case with all bikes, but I've sadly had to take them off.
Nice job, Andy. I am developing a real appreciation for these products. Oh, and my AMC word of the month: Gubbins. We ungrateful colonials here in Canada don't have that one. But we should!
Last time you got one of these adjustable footrests didn't you learn that without an extended brake/gear lever it ended up being more uncomfortable anyway?
Funny you should say that, I actually found it to be exactly the samw with these ones too. SHame really, as SW Motech executed the product so much bettr and they look really cool!
I’m pretty sure that they’ll be the same across all models. I have the Bellypan and the front mudguard on my 2020, even though they only list it for the 2022. the differences are very subtle, but most of the mounting points are identical.
Do you still use them? I seem to remember that in one of your later videos you mentioned you went back to the old pegs, but I forgot the reason. Was it aesthetics or ergonomics?
It was a mixture of both. They were extremely well made and well thought out pegs, but just not (imho) for this bike. They placed the actual contact points just a little bit too far outwards from the usual position for my taste. Plus i thought they looked a little too chunky for this machine. On an adventure bike, they’d look awesome!
@@AndyManCam Yes, they do look rather substantial which I'd get over after a while. But they seem to stick out because of the extra gap -- which is my concern how comfortable it'd be operating the levers. Thanks Andy for sharing!
I’m actually not super happy with this one. The fueling of the bike is so lean, to meet Euro4, that i think the Mivv can has leaned it out even more and introduced more lean vibrations. 😩 Stock runs much smoother.
I bought another version of SW motech adjustable footrests for my R1200R. Cracking bit of kit.
Very glad to hear it! They know their stuff! CHeers!

Looks really good quality and fab on the bike 👍
Agreed Jason. Very solid construction.
Perfect....thanks for sharing!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Great instructions. I will fit this on CB500X I think they are similiar.
I would most certainly thing so. Check the bike database in the SW-Motech website and if it fits, it’ll be listed.
I’ve ordered a set for my CB500X. Only thing I have to worry about is an e-clip rather than a split pin to get the OEM ones off.
Nice! Hope you’re happy with them. Wonderfully finished bit of kit.
Very beefy foot rests. I like that they re adjustable 👍
They’re considerably beefier than the stock ones!

Now John if your in eastern Ontario you may say something in east Indian but in Northern Ontario Canada we can say dewhickie. Lol
It’s a belter if a word! Counts for almost anything! Much like Shawns multifunctional doo-hicky! I’ve been known to use the odd doo-dad aswell!
@@shawngreenwood7825 We spell that doohickey... Same thing though!
@@AndyManCamin the spirit of inclusion I feel the need to add thingamajig and whatchamacallit...
Is this now the SW-MOTECH show.
Nope. Just the SW-motech chapter. Only need to kit the bike out once.
I am tempted but I don't think the bear claw look will suit the Tuono. I'll see if they do a more sportier option. Nice vid.....
I have to say that I agree. Bit too big and bulky for such an italian beaut!
Quality bit of kit. All i need is a better bike to warrant buying goodies like these.
#LifeGoals! Quality for sure. Beautifully made.
@@AndyManCam I've had my SW crash bars on my 390 for about 5 years now and they are still like new..

Looked & couldnt find my cb1000r black 21 plate versions.. no idea about years & what will fit.. the origonal ones hurt with rides over 200 miles..

should have done that on my Multistrada 1100, mine a tiny
They’re ones certainly aren’t! They’re somewhat substantial!

I’ve got a set from Raximo now. Much lower profile.
You're spoilt for choice! :D
Living the shoppers dream! 😂
Hello Andy. Any idea if these will fit a CB300R? Thanks.
Have a look on the SW-Motech website. They have a great bike selection tool. CHoose the bike, and it shows you everything that will fit your machine.
Do you happen to know if this would fit on the CB1000R 2009 model? Many thanks
I honestly couldn't say. Check out the bike selector tool on the SW Motech website and you'll find out for sure.
any thoughts on aftermarket slip on, to replace the huge can that modern bikes always have as standard

@@AndyManCam That's a real shame - I really like that can! (the OE one is way too huge and fugley!! :( )
@@AndyManCam get it remapped...job done
Where can I buy it ?
I live in Thailand..!

You had issues with lsl on the fz1 cause they went too far outwards. Any similar issues with this?
Unfortunately yes, but to a far lesser degree.
