0:16 I'm an Italian-American living in Italy and there's a context that really changed this scene for me that I'm not sure will be appearing later in the story but my favorite pasta shape IS actually stars 😭it's called Pastina! They're these little tiny star-shaped pasta that you cook in chicken soup (in brodo) -- it's a very comforting thing, the kind of thing people make for you when you're sick as a kid, and a box of it also looks suspiciously similar to the sweet dreams box of cereal -- especially because of the color, spoon, the fact that it's in a bowl of liquid (milk/soup). So I thought the next line after "are there one's shaped like stars?" was legit going to be "yes" LMAO and my heart was warming up and then that "no" really threw me through a loop lmfao. Anyone reading this, do yourself a favor, most grocery stores (in the US) actually carry Pastina -- cook 1/4 cup of dry pastina (per person) in twice as much broth (or water with a bouillon cube in it) and it's SO GOOD and SO EASY. Ideally there's also chicken, a tablespoon of olive oil, bay leaf, and then parmesan on top. Maddona mia. This is so wonderful and there's so much to love about it -- the character designs are spectacular. I urge you to try Pastina.

The art style of _The Dream Catchers_ looks like one of those retro, cutesy Japanese video game box arts back in 90s/2000s, be it Playstation or Gamecube era. It captures the serene, dream-like aesthetic of the world that the characters explored.
That was really cute, I really like the fuzzy texture it reminds me of how people have trouble remembering what they have dreamed after waking up, and VHS of course. Although I had difficulty seeing Christina the first time even with the focus on her when she was lying down. Great job!
i love how natural tv and stars conversations are, 'Plouse' is absolutely something me and my friends would come up with. I love the soft colours and fuzzy appearance, their houseboat really feels like something i would've had as a toy as a kid. I love how surreal and yet comforting this is. I love the voice acting. I love everything about this.
This feels like the passionate lovechild of ENA and Smiling Friends. Absolutely brilliant, has a great visual direction and color palette and really feels like it has its own identity. Love it, can't wait for more

Wow! Wow!!!!! You are all the most people of all time. You can tell this was made with so much love. It has an "instant classic" feel to it, and I can't overstate the production value. Everything feels so polished and professional, in a way that you completely don't notice it and are able to just sink into this world and go full immersion.
EVERYTHING about this is AMAZING!!! From teh title card to the writing to the outro to the animation to how EVERYTHING LOOKS!! I love how realistic the conversations between T.V and Star sounds. The voice acting is on spot!! This series has SO much potential. Really my only critcism is how fast the problem was resolved. Not a BIG Critique, rather minor. Other than that, good luck with future projects!! Can't wait to see what adventures Star and Tv goes on next! ^^
Aahh I'm absolutely in love with this concept! The idea of these two characters going inside people's dreams and help them solve their problems sounds so interesting! The visuals and music are so comforting but I can definitely see some more experimental animation or uncanny sequences in the future (in case nightmares and sleep paralysis are included heh) I'm really excited to see more about this series in the future!
I saw this premiere at the CalArts Character Animation Open Show this Spring, and instantly fell in love with the concept. Such a fantastic introduction to a wonderfully creative show. Amazing job to the entire team, can’t wait to see more! :D

I FINALLY get a chance to sit down, get all cozy and watch the first episode, and I absolutely love this! I cried at the “you can be your own family until you find one to share the cereal with”, that was so profound and yet so simple. It was an easy answer after all; we just looked to hard way out in the horizon when it was by our side the whole time. This is really something special, and I hope you guys continue to make episodes-you’re such wonderful thinkers and artists and I sincerely hope more people will find your work and acknowledge it too :D

The playful banter between Star and TV immediately draws the audience in, establishing both the quirky humor and the unique relationship dynamic. Star’s boundless enthusiasm mixed with TV’s more practical mindset already creates a fun contrast that feels engaging from the get-go. The concept of diving into dreams, solving problems within them, and helping people like Christina through imaginative solutions, like building a house out of pylons, is such a cool premise! It gives the show endless possibilities for creative storytelling, while also incorporating heartfelt moments like the one where Star comforts Christina with the cereal metaphor. For a first episode, it hits all the right notes - humor, adventure, and a touch of emotion - all while introducing us to a unique world. Excited to see how these dream adventures evolve!

This is so so cute I can imagine this being so comfortable to come back to and watch again and again, the show feels like a hug by a friend you'd forgotten u had... I love the sense of humor too it's dry and whacky and really special... The watercolor paper texture blur to indicate distance is soo nicee idk how that was achieved it just looks really great. I love the END CREDITS SO MUCHHH.. couldnt dream of a better start to this show!

OMG - im already LUVING this series and future episodes to be dropped soon. It's def giving alot of nastolgia cartoon vibes with a mix of that "growing up" energy with the adult elements mixed in 😂❤ Bee and puppycat, Adventure Time, DHMIS, lowkey ADC, and so many more. Gods I wanna see more of this world-everything from the aesthetic to the character design screams old claymation shows. But with a ton of abstraction and banter, TV’s design is so simple and yet so expressive-and the premise is super super interesting!

I actually adore this so much?? the style and the peacefulness while still being funny is all executed so perfectly in a way that makes it really enjoyable to watch and doesnt feel like too much, and its making me super excited to see how this series will continue =)

This is so so cute I can imagine this being so comfortable to come back to and watch again and again, the show feels like a hug by a friend you'd forgotten u had... I love the sense of humor too it's dry and whacky and really special... The watercolor paper texture blur to indicate distance is soo nicee idk how that was achieved it just looks really great. I love the END CREDITS SO MUCHHH.. couldnt dream of a better start to this show!

Gods I wanna see more of this world-everything from the aesthetic to the character design screams old claymation shows. But with a ton of abstraction and banter, TV’s design is so simple and yet so expressive-and the premise is super super interesting!
