I love hilti tools. I use nothing but hilti and I enjoy every second working with these tools. Even if i’ve had a horrible long long working day, even then, when I use the hilti tools, it just makes me happy. 😁💪💪
A 21.6 volt Hilti battery, of equal amp hours, will always provide more watt hours (i.e., more available power) than any 18 volt battery. Despite its stated lower torque rating, it is no wonder that the Hilti is such an awesome tool. I'd be willing to bet that Hilti is understating the maximum available torque.
I did a head to head test with these two drills as I own both. I put a 2.6amp in the Hilti and a 9 amp in the Milwaukee. The Hilti still won all tests I put it through. It also is quicker in brick than the Milwaukee. Dave.
Wow!! I run Hilti tools but always get them online from Hilti UK. It must be the Best toy shop for grown up guys. Can you actually come out without buying something?? I don't think I could. 😕😕🤣🤣
These tests are great - but the real test comes long-term. I'm running at least 4 Hilti tools which are just over 15 years old, and which all still work as well as the day I bought them, despite massive abuse and a super-hard working life. If one of them did fail, Hilti send a carrier to collect it the same day, they repair it, and they send it back to me - all within 2 days. They also continue to carry parts on the shelf 20 years after the last one came off the production line. Folks perceive them as expensive - but compared to the cost of replacing a tool 3 times during the same 15-year period, to me they're actually a bargain. Best wishes from the UK.

You can’t drill through concrete by cutting it with steel. The hammer mode doesn’t affect the driving performance. You might be confusing it with an impact driver.
That's the problem with Hilti, if I was to own one i'd be asking it if it was okay after every single hole drilled - and would be tucking it away in its cot at night! I love my Milwaukee

I’d really like to see my Multivolt Hammer drill go up against these beast. Especially since they offer the 2.5 Multivolt which is 18650 cells and the 4 Amp which is 21700 cells.

Question : if you had to choose a complete range of tools? which brand would you choose? and between Milwaukee and Dewalt do you have a preference ? Thanks you and have a good day 😉
The cells are the same size as Hiltis the drill is just more capable because technology doesn't stand still...in the end it's just bragging rights...Hilti is the new T-Dog...

I'm missing the point here, expected more like battery challenge, wich will perform longer.... I'm using 8.0 Ah hilti one and it's a monster, a beast, works nearly twice longer that 5,2 Ah ones, and these are already very good
its not only duration its also power. the cells inside the battery share the load with more cells inside so it can use the power that is there with less stress on the cells
Nice video. Its not a fair fight, hilti is way above and beyond any of the other brands, my hilti impact /drill and reciprocating saw are 9 years old I have a 7 year old battery and a 3 compact 5 year old ones, still working, accidently left one outside on this last texas snow storm it stayed 3 days deep halfway on water, all it took it was to get 3hrs of sun light and keeps going. HILTI is GOD level, the rest are mortals😉,
Hilti is called expert grade tool however you have to pay for it, no matter for the performance, spend return warranty and after sale service, Hilti will better than most of professional grade like Milwaukee, Makita etc. However for most of trade professional tool is good enough and cost effective than expert tool range. I used to hire Hilti rotary hammer for heavy duty task, I can frankly tell this machine is better than Bosch Hammer and Milwaukee.
You said at the end of the video that “it’s time to see if Milwaukee can redeem itself” in every “test” the times were literally within tenths of seconds of each other there is no possible way you can say either one of these drills is better than the other. Especially since you determine the times when you edit the videos.
I dont determine the times. the centisecond of the time is determined when the task is done. I replay and replay and replay until I get the exact time when task is done. it takes more of an effort to find that out, there is no point of this channel if I just make up the times. I don't benefit at it if a certain tool wins. I thank you so much for viewing.
I think Hilti will win the longevity test as all my Milwaukee gear gave me trouble about 4-6 weeks after getting it. My Hilti gear never misses a beat.
Milwaukee would probably still lose. I own both of these drills and the Hilti is better all round. I have done lots of head to head tests. I tested with equal-ish batteries 5amp Milwaukee 5.2 Hilti. Hilti won. I also tested with a 9amp hour in the Milwaukee and a 2.6amp in the Hilti. Hilti still won. Plus the Hilti works all the time and doesn't get too hot like the Milwaukee. Milwaukee trigger only works when it feels like it. Like one of my old assistants!! 🤣🤣🤣 But at the end of the day it's the skill of the guy using the tool that gets the job done quick and to a high standard.
@@davesheppard8797 I agree with u that Hilti is a better tool. But the testing that I've done in maple , oak and zebra wood has the Milwaukee on top power wise....but that's it and if people buy drills on the power numbers alone they are making a huge mistake. Nice talking to ya
@@donnysanner342 Yes Donny, I think we get a little bit carried away by statistics. At the end of the day it's the skill of the guy using the drill that really makes a job quick. Although pretty soon they will probably bring out a drill that goes off and does it by itself!! I think that if your using a drill all day you need it to be comfortable and user friendly with a good battery life. If a drill is uncomfortable to use you will be slowed down anyway. That's a thing I like about the Hilti reps, you can try before you buy so at least you get some idea. When I first started years ago all I had was a hand brace...(is that violins I hear?) 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Best wishes, Dave.

Bahaha.. If they hit a knot, it doesn't matter. OK, so have the one you want to win drill through wood with a sharp drill and the other though concrete with a butter knife. Yep. Fair. A comparison test isn't a test unless every variable is controlled. Start using MDF or clear wood.
not every knot if visible from the surface. if you watched the entire video you you would see that im not needing a certain tool to win, whoever wins, wins. I dont benefit if milwuakee wins or if HILIT wins but thank you so much for viewing

I believe they both have 21700 but HILIT is 21.6v and MIlwuakee is 18v
The Hilti 4ah uses 21700 cells. If you want to compare batteries to a 5.0, use a 5.2ah from Hilti
more battery tests will be coming soon along with different materials, and thank you for viewing Muddy
A few seconds difference is not enough for me to break bread
Please do metabo vs hilti
Metabo will be coming to this channel :)
Love the videos btw
I thank you sir
No one can deny that Hilti makes great tools the problem with them amd the reason I will choose Milwaukee everytime is the size, the price and the battery availability, on a job site you won't fine anyone with Hilti but Milwaukee if everywhere if you need to rob some volts from someone Milwaukee is the only way to go
very good and I thank you for viewing Sam
Hey.. when did you change your channel name ?... Didnt u have many more subs with your old channel name ?
I did change the name, but my sub count is still growing, im at 9,145 subs according to my analytics
@@ManCaverTools right on. Keep up the hustle. 👍
I’d really like to see my Multivolt Hammer drill go up against these beast. Especially since they offer the 2.5 Multivolt which is 18650 cells and the 4 Amp which is 21700 cells.
will do and thank you for viewing

Hey, great video. In france we use lot of Hilti and makita. But lot of use milwaukee and dewalt too but hilti is a big leader in france because warranty and SAV.
Question : if you had to choose a complete range of tools? which brand would you choose? and between Milwaukee and Dewalt do you have a preference ?
Thanks you and have a good day 😉
The cells are the same size as Hiltis the drill is just more capable because technology doesn't stand still...in the end it's just bragging rights...Hilti is the new T-Dog...
both of them are awesome hammer drills and im glad I have them both :) and thank you sir
@@ManCaverTools thanks bro I own the Milwaukee combo drill Gen3 one key with 3ah High Output battery for electrical installation as well as 5ah...I'm a new subby to ur channel but you deliver the best viewing and style over seen lately all the best brother..🤜🤛😎👍
Are you into any construction?
I used to be in construction when I was younger, then the market crashed and I changed professions
@@ManCaverTools oh ok cool. I'm an electrician, I use a mix of DeWalt and Milwaukee power tools.
HILTI is GOD level, the rest are mortals😉,
HILTI is very well known for their tools lasting forever
I've got 7 and 8 year old batteries still going strong
你好!喜得利的充电钻哪款扭矩最大?卖多少钱?是否可以邮寄到中国?谢谢!

What did he say?
Hilti is called expert grade tool however you have to pay for it, no matter for the performance, spend return warranty and after sale service, Hilti will better than most of professional grade like Milwaukee, Makita etc. However for most of trade professional tool is good enough and cost effective than expert tool range. I used to hire Hilti rotary hammer for heavy duty task, I can frankly tell this machine is better than Bosch Hammer and Milwaukee.
I agree, I love both of these hammer drills and im glad I own them both :)
I shoted you out in my latest UA-cam video thanks for sharing
I Thank you sir and ill check it out :)
U should do ur test in oak or maple.....then watch the Milwaukee eat
that's a fantastic idea, and thank you sir
Milwaukee would probably still lose. I own both of these drills and the Hilti is better all round. I have done lots of head to head tests. I tested with equal-ish batteries 5amp Milwaukee 5.2 Hilti. Hilti won. I also tested with a 9amp hour in the Milwaukee and a 2.6amp in the Hilti. Hilti still won. Plus the Hilti works all the time and doesn't get too hot like the Milwaukee. Milwaukee trigger only works when it feels like it. Like one of my old assistants!! 🤣🤣🤣
But at the end of the day it's the skill of the guy using the tool that gets the job done quick and to a high standard.
Best wishes,
Dave.
Them all your tools ...like wow bro you rich : )
I am not rich. im in debt lol
wow you got plenty of tools
yes I do lol
I fail to see how this type of test demonstrates which tool is best. Who works their tools like that? I want to know which is built best, or lasts longer. Not just which is fastest. Besides, I don’t work like that.
MrDavidfarris then don’t watch
MrDavidfarris very easy solution :)
Ok I won’t, just stumbled onto it anyway, thought it might be interesting. Guess I was wrong. Have a nice life.
You changed your UA-cam name I see ?
yes I did, to prevent legal issues in the future with ryobi being in the name. the Ryobi marketing team did say there are guidelines that need to be followed when I called them.
Man Caver Tools u you should also just do a drill master test vs Makita, (well I know drill master is going to lose but I just wanna see it)
Do you ever build anything? Or are you just drilling holes and driving screws.?
its winter time. I will continue to work on the house during spring summer and fall. along with working on the boat, its was 0 degrees yesterday. im good on building stuff right now. besides, I used to upload working on the house all the time. people aren't interested on watching that so I mainly just upload videos like this now
evolve p. Kind of an inconsiderate comment. Man Caver is providing information regarding power tools which is way more positive and helpful than posting crappy comments.
I want this hilti dril so how can you deleverd india
im sorry about that Sameer
Where's the Dewalt???
I uploaded the dewalt
Great video I have dewalt 996 at home & work provides 2804 with 8ah batteries but for the price difference I'll stick with Milwaukee they have a ton of tools great awesome customer service great warranty they are always making stuff exactly to your needs I can buy em almost anywhere & look how badass that drill is only loosing by 1/2 a second in most of the tests & look at how small the drill itself is compared to hilti dewalt makita or rigid & for those reasons that's why I have Milwaukee & dewalt & I.R. & ryobi & chigao electric battery tools because each brand has it's own nice tool so I buy one from every brand mostly because I love these newer battery operated tools I'm not concerned with being brand loyal I need them to work for me cause I use em to make $ to support my family & I'm not going to put a price on that just because of brand loyalty I'll buy whatever I think is best regardless off who makes it I just never see hilti when I'm buying something new
I thank you for your input sir and also thank you for viewing
You won't see Hilti unless you go to a Hilti store. They are not sold anywhere else.
All these times are in 100th of each other. I can’t say one drill won when one drill is 0.23 seconds slower or so
in a few tests in a few second but both are powerful tools
Man Caver Tools all’s I’m saying is that it’s hard to conduct a winner unless one cuts out which the Hilti did in comparison
Either Milwaukee marketing is crap. Or Hilti doesn't rate their tools high enough.
As a major kobalt fan I just recently bought my first Milwaukee set I dont think I will be needing to buy any other brands lol I'm definitely going to be going broke lmao you guys keep breaking them so I know not to buy them
im right there with you, im going broke as well lol and thank you for viewing
drill driver SF 8M-A22
Milwaukee is barely slower why go with double the price
the drill almost cost the same price
@@ManCaverTools oh it is for once thats good 👍
I put my money on Milwaukee, man, with 5 years warranty, save 35 percent price in compare with hilti,
very good and I thank you for viewing Jimmy
You need some kind of jig for your test! The test are inconclusive do to varying pressure you apply. So honestly these test are Severely Flawed
Most of these test don’t even make sense
And I couldn’t agree more with what you said
when it comes to these type of tests that you see on UA-cam, do you know how long this video would be if I let the tool do all the work? it would probably be 30 min long or I only do 1 test. so I put pressure on each tool as equal as I can. thank you for viewing
Man Caver Tools not necessary for the video to be that long. Prime Example of someone that does it right Project Farms
@@darrinborst7205 Don't watch them then!! I enjoy Dave's tests. He doesn't claim the tests to be perfect. If your that bothered buy the gear and do the test yourself. I own both drills and have done head to head tests. I have also used both drills daily in work ever since I got this Hilti. I can tell you that the Hilti is superior in many ways.
First of all I all ready know hilti might win cause all there new batteries for there brushless models are 21700 cells which have 3-5 times more power than 18650 cells sometimes
but its still interesting to see how it perfomes against another brand :)
@@ManCaverTools the Milwaukee High output are 21700 cells arnt they?
The name change has me a little scared👀
its going to be the same channel :) uploading the same kind of videos. I just dont want any legal issues further down the road with the name Ryobi in it
The wrist hahaha
I know. :(
Wouldn't it be more accurate test if you had some kind of weight pushing down on these drills rather than your own force. Not the most accurate test surely?
when it comes to more of a control test like that it would take a long time to do the job. these video would be 30-40 min long and nobody will watch it in its entirety. I try to be as accurate as possible, Thank you for viewing sir
@@ManCaverTools I hear what u are saying buddy and I did like your vid. I also like Hilti stuff but for the price difference and the only slightly faster times, I'd have the Milwaukee. Thanks for reply. One new subscriber coming up...

@@ManCaverTools Ah! You saw it... Haha!
If the Hilti was the same 18 volt battery the Milwaukee will win
But it isn't!! I own both these drills and the Hilti is far superior all round.
that's like saying if Ryobi was made better it would beat Milwuakee. it is what it is. and I thank you so much for viewing sir
I agree
Am in to tool so I do extensive research on them
Hilti power is a Lamborghini Milwaukee's a Corvette
it is truly amazing :)
That’s a little inaccurate because doesn’t the zr1 beat the lambo ?? Or even the camero zL1 for the matter??
The hilti too big man
concrete tests are coming soon and thank you for viewing sir

Thank you Josh
Milwaukee best in the world
thank you for viewing sir
Hilti - the beast.
But prise (((
I agree and thank you Biz
I don’t want to buy another platform just for a drill that’s just fractionally stronger Torque wise... I’ll stick with my Milwaukee. Greg
Milwaukee is a fantastic brand, just because a tool loses in a versus video doesn't mean its garbage or a bad tool.
... you put a lot of work on this kind of reviews, probably more then #VCG because you are alone and to speak by yourself takes some kind of sanity.
I had the opportunity to work closely to some people how hard Hilti and in till now never rises up to my expectations on woodworking tools .Exceptional laser levels, drywall screw gun , grinder, demolition tools but not woodworking tools. Probably with this new generation they will have a place in the carpentry industry, but still has to make a planer and a cordless router and a better cordless vacuum . Aaaa and the price , the price is offensive , just for a quarter more faster will never make the market tremble , even when the huge guarantee skim .
I agree the price is outrageous but you do get a better quality tool, Milwaukee is already a good tool so your apart of the m18 or m12 system you are good to go and thank you for viewing
... I am a part of the RAINBOW, not for the categories how has stolen the symbol, but... another imapropie word, the necessity has pushed me to have different colours so I can get the job done. Many years in Europe we use 240 volts everywhere , when I move to England 240 was banned from the job sites because 110 volts is a crap voltage especially when you have long wires I have to become remote from the wires and start buying power batteries tools , and guess who was more most helpful for all ? Ryobi tools, not the same quality like in America and not the same range but good enough to do the job. After I burned out a couple of tools, in the first year of guarantee I started replacing them with Dewalt only because they have the Cordless Nail guns and because of the DCS577, which I had to import from America, because Dewalt UK is terrible when came to his clients and they bring DCS577 after 1 year in UK .
Long short story you are blessed with Homeless Despot with that enormous quality of tools and accessories.
Hilti is better but not by much.
agreed Milwaukee and Dewalt are still awesome brands
Shame hilti’s looks like a kids toy
I don't think so but I thank you for viewing Josh
