Hello Harstem. Storm drop is one of my favorite, but since I don't have your skills, I just suck with it.
One game-changing idea is to take 1 sentries with the templars in the prism, so that you can force field both exits of the mineral line, and then storm the drones (that can no more escape). That way, you can kill the whole mineral line in one drop.
Since I don't have the APM to do that correctly, can you please try it and see if that can work?

That's not just BGMWSS that's holy grail of SC2.

@@MeesterG the way harstem gets a lot of the harder bgmwss to work is to make an attack that would win him the game, but instead go back before the opponent taps out, which gives him space to do whatever silly strategy of the day. any strategy can work if you're 4 base and your opponent is rebuilding workers on their natural

The micro in the first game for that hold was actually unbelievable. Saving the 2 archons with yellow health. Morphing an archon to prevent bile killing templar and then grabbing the 2 immortals. Crazy
The micro was good micro, but have u seen parting control something like this? He doges oracle shots on probes with prism!

Idea: Add a Sentry and use Force Field to prevent the enemy from evacuating his Probes/SCVs. Than you Storm the s**t out of them.
That might require too much gas to hit early enough. Maybe, instead of storming, you warp in chargelots to the mineral line after force fielding the workers in.

If I get 5 min storm dropped in ANY of my matches this month, I know who to hold it against
Dragon has this funny HT only troll game on yt. The opponent brings marines. HT only looks so stupid he obviously made a push and kited away from the storm and went in again but there was more storm. It got really hilarious when the remaining marines had almost no health left and the HT started chasing them down with their epic normal attack and their incredible speed.
My wife says you sound like an airline pilot at the end of the video and you should cap it off with thank you for flying with harstem air.

A BGWSS suggestion for your new year Harstem: Abuse the fact that shield batteries refill even when unpowered.
Do any warp prism harass you like (immortal drop/colossus drop/distruptor, whatever) with a catch: sneak or ferry a probe with it and us it create hidden "recharge stations" out of shield batteries with no pylon (to make them cheaper and harder to spot, naturally), and then recharge your drop's shields as needed by briefly powering them with the warp prism.
BGMWSS idea nr. 2. - Sentry Century: You need to do as much shenanigans with Sentries as possible. Use non Phoenix hallucinations to scout. Forcefield the enemy into his base. Forcefield drop your enemies minerals. Forcefield the base location where your enemy wants to expand. Use guardian shield in every fight possible (even if it's only like 3v3 units xD) etc.

BGMWSS idea: Achievement hunter. I don't know if you have all the 1v1 achievements or not but try grinding some achievements vs opponents. Like with Terran destroying a bunch of workers with Raven auto-turrets etc.
This is the funniest way to play SC2, I do the same, it certainly made my play better constantly tying these crazy strategies with all races. Keep it up!
Challenge Idea: BroodWar Game Engine. You can use whatever units/strategy you like, but you must play as if SC2 has been ported into the SC1 engine. This means:
No multiple building selection (also applies to control groups)
No more than 12 units selected at once, or in a control group (might be difficult when boxing an army in a big fight, but try your best not to go over 12)
No auto-mine. Probes must be rallied next to the Nexus and then manually sent to mine.
btw, I've been suggesting this nearly every week for months. Let me know if you think this is a terrible idea and I'll stop repeating it and wasting our time.

adding in warp prism speed wouldnt be a bad idea, but a fair bit more gas needed obviously

God I love Starcraft. My brother and I played it on LAN years ago, and I still love the style of base-building and resource management. I hope someday I'll be able to buy into that genre again. ^_^

I have also been going one gate into robo and starting immortal production immediately. Having that Immortal out early has helped a lot. I can get 3 stalker and 2 immortal really quick. I defend the first push and it is game.

When you recognized the queen walk, just as he's about to start his attack, why not drop the temps and feedback all the queens? You get guaranteed damage and completely eliminate his ability to transfuse. Seems more damaging than the storm itself.

BGMWSS idea: Drawing on the minimap. Place buildings and/or units in a formation that when scouted reveals a message or a picture for your opponent to appreciate.

Idea: "Fake cannon rush" You run out with an early probe but you build a gateway at home. With your probe, you try to build at least one pylon (and cancel it/them) to cause enough missing mining time to gain a little advantage. And maybe you go for a timing push after that idk
Idea: have to build double tech structures before you can use them

5:05 - Protoss is such garbage that you can fast tech great cast, still have 3 bases at 5mn and even defend the counter to your failed timing attack with 3 units...

At 5mn, it has its natural not mining because the scvs repair the stupid wall preventing opponent's army to roll over its lonely tank and 4 marines.
Shield battery is a fucking rape, battery overcharge is a rape (just a free 14sec to get immortal or void out and ceal the deal), Immortal barrier with free 100damage points absorption is a joke, protoss air is a fucking rape (only answer is: don't let the toss go there), DTs is a joke, obs and Oracle revelation are free maphack, HT storm is fantastic, no energy? No pb, let's morph archons.
Terrans have ghosts.
Vikings die to anything, BCs is fucking expensive for anything else than an early-game harass ability (tactical jump) that protoss has for free in the nexus. Banshees are useless after 5mn, ravens are one-shot support cause they die straight after spell-casting. Ooooh libs can be good with range. But they are also made of paper, and without shield to be recharged by batteries.
I played litterally less than 10 games as toss, and I reached same level as terran.... Doing stupid stuff, no build order.... Look the protoss proportions in higher leagues.

The terran game was a win, one base full of probes (could take just one make a proxy nexus and gg) 700 minerals in bank, while terran had 0 workers on either bases. it would have been a lil painfulk and slow sure but.. that wasn't a loss, i hate how starcraft 2 has this mentality of surrender ASAP ( way way too soon ) . part of why i wouldn't even enjoy really playing it.

Next BGWSS: Every unit you want to use first have to make a 360 degrees once. Example you want attack with a stalker and you haven't controlled the stalker before, the stalker has to make a 360. After that whenever you control the same stalker, no 360 is required. Same for your probes.
Harstem looks a bit like a young version of Elon Musk on the thumbnail.
Can we stop calling these builds "fastEST"? Yes I understand why you delay things based on what makes sense for the build order, but it's possible to have 2 templar with a prism about 1 minute earlier. "I don't think it's actually possible [to get storm faster]." It actually is.
