- This videos it’s a little long for the one part that just needs replacement , I just want to say that after almost a month of driving it check engine light didn’t come back on... 9/10 it will be the seal but might aswell replace the pump you get the pump and seal from dealer for like 60$ total.

Man, I felt like a million bucks after fixing the car! My check engines been on for a while and I thought my gas cap was loose (as that's what the OBDII scanner said; along with the P0456 error) and this video really gave me the confidence to do it! God bless!
I just got a check engine light. I have a 2011 Charger. I got a code of P0455 (Large Evap Leak) so far this video is helping me understand what is going on with the car. Your step by step explanation helped alot.
Your tutorial was spot on just replace that whole vapor canister leak detector for my 2010 dodge challenger SE 3.5L V6 i have to say it was the best video of them all on here lol nobody now days get very specific and detailed on how to videos no more. It's your vapor canister not the leak pump
I've had my Charger since 2018 and had to replaced EVERYTHING under the hood and wheel area. thinking that the guy was being honest sold me a LEMON. I did a lot that I could do, and it was painful, but I did it. I THANK YOU for this video you've given me another challenge and saved me MONEY. I wouldn't have never thought of this problem so I'll be replacing everything the Evap detection and corresponding connector, ? which is the the wire you connected to the Evap Pump right or wrong?
You don’t have to change the connector unless if it’s really open or broken.. do you have the same code ???

I replaced one of those in my dodge.That job is a mother fucker. It was a pita. It fixed my gas cap light. If your doing this for inspection, The car only does the evap test between 1\4 and 3\4 tank of gas. I ran the car nearly out of gas disconnected my battery to reset the ecm and ran it threw inspection and it passed.

If light still coming back on for same code . I will either replace it one more time or replaced gas cap this time

I got ina police chase and when they finally caught my ass and towed my car i got my car back and the gas tank had a hole.. and i havent had a chance to change the gas tank but i stopped it from leaking and i started getting this code so my money is on my tank but i wan to know if maybe you have a similar situation such as a hole in your tank maybe? Are you leaking any gas? My car will start leaking after $25 or 6 gallons
So I have a 2012 Dodge Charger rt and I had a blowout on my rear right passenger side tire and this problem happened to my car, but I had broke the connected hoses too the Evap canister plus the pump .. do you know where I can buy the whole entire parts? I’m looking for the Evap canister , the pump to it , and the tube hoses too 🤷🏻♂️

Ok ..this is an update on my question..i located it..on a dodge avenger its located next to the back tire near the gas tank..but its Literally exposed you can see it with your eyes if you just look under The back tire driver's side
It took 3mins to change and the engine lites been gone now for two weeks.
Hey sweety ! Did that sensor make your gas hand say that you’re out of gas when you were not ? I mean like you oh could’ve just put gas in your car and by the time you drive down the street your gas hand say that your gas level is on empty.
Yes but so far I’ve worked on a charger 2 weeks ago and replaced fuel pump that was saying was full but car had no gas on it .. even tho the fuel pump was replaced it was reading the same thing so if your gauge is reading all over the places and has different reading everytime the problem will be your instrument cluster .. they need to be program but if you get one from the junk yard from same year car and install it should work normal .. chances are it might be reading your actual mileage or it might be reading the car you got the panel from ..
I paid dealer to do my panel and it was almost 600$
U need a fuel level sensor they come on a new fuel pump ⛽️ it’s located behind your driver seat
Any chance this fixes p0452 ? I didn't both fuel pumps, evap canister solenoid, car is running rough
Not sure .. I looked it up and it usually causes when the computer noticed a drop on voltage going to the fuel pump. So might wanna check for good wires or replace the fuel pressure sensor

No, check and see it sealed all the way when you placed it back

Nah I didn’t notice any poor gas mileage .. yes it did .. my light came back just few days ago but it was fuel pump module .. is at the dealer right now getting fix since I can’t be working on cars for now

Obviously not, he had to go back and erase the code after. If he had disconnected the battery then erasing the code would not have had to have been done as the CEL would have already been gone.

Yea, it’s just showing as a evap code.
It’s pretty easy to replace .. and make sure you buy the o-ring (gasket) because it don’t come with it

It shouldn’t, it’s more of an evap for emission

Bro all my clips arent like that it's like four like that and six I can't see how to take off
Some might be different but they still clips .. try pulling on it and you should see where is being held

The oem from the dealer don’t buy none from auto parts cuz most likely they won’t seal right

Yea it can do that I just worked on a Jeep Patriot that’s was shutting off had code p0456, p0457 replaced “vacuum detection pump” and check engine light went away also car don’t shut off .. and was able to pass emission along with a p2017 code that was also on and was fixed
