On July 15 2024, A Derecho struck the Midwest, Including Chicago. There were 10 confirmed tornadoes, wind gust up to 75 mph, Flash Floods were issued. Over 185,000 power outages reported, and widespread damage. It happened at night hours after the sirens. Here we had level 4 risk, which is high. Tornado percentage was 10. The wind gust with heavy rain reduce the heat to make it feel less humid. This happened on Monday night.
