The worst part is how a lot of high rises (perhaps all?) are designed to sway somewhat with the winds to make it safer -- but of course, being inside of one when it's windy, it's absolutely terrifying! My father used to live in one of them and when it was storming out, it was the scariest thing ever
I was in Laporte County when we had a Tornado Warning on our phones we heard the sirens i got so scared but the Tornado didn't hit my house i seen tree damage on the road and i even see a House destroyed near my home im glad everyones okay.
I live in cook county and heard the sirens. just when I heard that o'hare had a nearby tornado I immediately warned my parents and we instantly went down stairs. we risked losing everything. then I heard there was one in midway. man. it felt like we were surrounded. but good thing that we weren't targeted by the tornado. thank the lord 🙏
I miss the drunken tornado siren of Chicago 😢 it was definitely more creepy.
Yes, the old ones were way more creepy
Makes me so homesick for Binny's!
One of my worst nightmares: tornado sirens in and/or around high-rises!
