First you clean the dirt of the inside of the oven with a scrape plastic spatula. Take out the dirt. Then turn on self clean. After that, when the oven is cleaned and cold, use baking powder with 2 drops of water to form a paste and use to clean the inside of the window.
I appreciate the details. It just seems that bombing it with Easy off or the yellow degreaser from Dollar tree is so much quicker and effective. Spray-Wait-Wipe. But now I know how it works though. I never knew ovens had self cleaning 😅 I like the video info man thanks👍
I'm laughing so hard at glass on the stove! Hell the entire stove was jacked. My man, it's self cleaning so use it maybe once a month. I've had a GE glass top for over 20 years and my stove looks brand new. Why, just clean it🤣
I prefer old school since im just renting and the home came with it, baking soda vinegar and a towel not finna toast myself up trying this new technology. 😂😂

I have not seen anyone mention having to add water. It appears to clean using extreme heat and not steam. Check your instructions of your oven if you have them or look up your model online and find the instruction manual.
This was not a good video not all ovens automatically lock the door some are manual lock and it is always best to use the 4-Hour setting. This is why you did not get a clean oven.
Using oven cleaner WILL void whatever warranty you have if you have a self cleaning oven. Also, the chemicals can damage the inside of the oven. If you have a self cleaning oven, the instruction manual will very clearly and emphatically say to NOT use oven cleaner in your oven.
Self cleaning ovens kill birds.... we all have DNA/RNA... no thanks, think of the energy it requires to run an oven that long at such a high temp. Just tried one for first time and had to go outside to breath... what a waste of energy. Don't make a mess and when you do clean it up afterwards. .. lazy bad idea IMO.
NEVER VACUUM THE ASHES. There have been several fires where the ash still has some lit ambers. It’s best to use a hot damp rag.
I suppose you could wait longer before vacuuming.
