- Toontrack's SDX by Frank Filipetti entitled Stories has 4 separate libraries. This video focuses on the Percussion Library and it's instruments, articulations, midi, and some workflow tips for beginners.

Excellent video, as always. Any chance you'll be doing one soon for the rest of the library? There is one youtube video that has the presets, but it doesn't really give as thorough a sense of what they sound like as your videos do. Please? Pretty please? I need to hear what this things kits and presets can do!

Loved The video.... Enjoyed watching Frank Filicetti's Toontrack video.... Too cool that it was done in my backyard in CT. Wish they made a version of this for EZ Drummer. Not sure why they don't create for both platfoms..... Anyways Loved it!!!!
You never know, they might make an EZX out of it. Typically one comes before the other.

great video, very useful, just 1 thing , "timpanis" pronounce I think is with stress on first "i" so it is "tìmpani" not "timpàni", cheers

nice, how much of this SDX in terms of percussion instruments is not already covered in the orchestral percussion SDX (which i already own)
If you're totally into this stuff, I think it's worth it. Orchestral is going to smoke this library though. I'm not going to put the time in, but I did glance at them before I made the statement. Stories Percussion is not a recycled Orchestra SDX. Many different Instruments. And the repeats at least sound different.
What's a timPANi?
what is a "future hit" articulation?
The peak of a sound for certain instruments does not happen right away and would be difficult to program without time compensation. Futurehit deals with this automatically.
