@@USAirForceRecruiting I have the same question for SPECWAR (CCT, SR, EOD). If I have it now, then go into DEP probably February/March will I be good to go (I understand healing for PRK is typically a few months)?

you can watch an in-depth video for more information but tl;dr if you do 6 years, you'll sign be an e-3 that gets sewed on after tech school, you'll make (about iirc) $5k more at the 4 year mark but at the same time if you don't like the air force then you aren't able to get out for another 2 years while if you had gone 4 years and liked it you could reenlist
To qualify for OTS (Officer Training School), you must have any baccalaureate degree or be within 365 days of graduating from a U.S. college or university to apply. You must have earned a minimum GPA of 2.5 (Engineering majors have no minimum GPA requirement) or better to be eligible to apply. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be at least 18 years of age and not reached your 40th birthday for non-rated and Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Applicants. ** Pilot, Air Battle Manager (ABM), and Combat System Officer (CSO) Applicants. What happens if you pass depth perception in MEPS so you get a aircrew job buy then you fail it in the flight physical in Bmt? Will They jus prescribe you glasses to Correct the eyesight ?

You will need a 10 year green card with over 2 years remaining prior to the expiration date to be eligible to apply. Members may apply for citizenship after they have served 180 days.
