Great to hear a new song from Sweet, the first band I remember loving! I still have a Sweet t-shirt my parents bought to me when I was 4-5 years old in 1973-1974! ❤️
I also have a part of a Sweet t-shirt from the time when I was still a kid. When I grew the t-shirt, I cut out the motif and glued it in a picture frame. This picture frame with the Sweet motif is still hanging on my wall.

Really like this version. The harmonies really make it similar in tones to the old sweet. Whilst the moaners will complain that "it's a Tribute band", they need to remember that 90% of the original band are gone and Andy is doing his best to keep the spirit and the music alive.

Just found this in 2022. When I was growing up, my Uncle Bill's favorite song was Little Willy. I always dug Wig Wam Bam, even if, as a kid, I didn't get the joke. With Wayne's world, I rediscovered Ballroom Blitz, and Fox on the Run will forever have a special place in my heart from an afternoon on a friends boat just a few years ago (thank you, Pandora!). Finding new music by this band, so like the old music, is such a treat! Time to go listen to all I've been missin'.

@@stefanrentsch8729 ich glaube eher, dass er die Möglichkeit bekommen wird, Sweet quasi weiterzuführen. Andy ist da sicher schon an einer Lösung dran. Er weiß, dass er leider nicht mehr ewig so weitermachen kann.
@@vomnebelsee Ja, ich bin gespannt wie das neue Album wird. Es wird laut Andy Scott das letzte sein.Musikalisch wahrscheinlich Richtung Hardrock. Das Album "Sweetlife" war sehr melodisch. Hat mir sehr gefallen. Es hätten mehr neue Alben geben müssen. in 30 jahren 2 Alben wenig.Wahrscheinlich war er mit den Sängern nicht zufrieden, (siehe Pete Lincoln). Dass es noch ein neues Album gibt im Herbst ist ja allerehren wert. Ich glaube aber nicht ,dass es besser wird als "A" aus dem Jahr 1992, oder "Sweetlife" aus 2002.
@@stefanrentsch8729 genießen wir einfach was noch kommt. Sweetlife gefällt mir auch, aber wie du sagst die früheren Sänger kamen an Brian kein bisschen ran. Paul ist der Beste bisher.

Ich hatte ihn, obwohl ich absoluter Sweet- Fan bin, nicht richtig auf dem Schirm, denn die letzten Line-Ups hatten mich nicht so gecatcht. Aber seit ich am 7. November in Bochum auf dem Konzert war, bin ich total geflasht, besonders von Paul Manzi!! Hammer Stimme und mit großem Charisma und Charme!!
