I was a teenager in the 70s. I loved everything about sweet. Miss the past Brian, Mick, and Steve. But Andy is still rocking out. Sounds great. I'm Still a sweet fan. 😋 thanks Andy for being you. I've enjoyed listening to your interviews. You're so talented. Thanks for posting on UA-cam and keeping Sweet alive, memories and all.

I loved SWEET so much when I was 12 vears young in 1975!
I bought a lot of the german Newspaper called 'Bravo' to have
all 4 SWEET-members in original size at the wall beneath my bed.
Andy Scott is still with us, and this is so cool!
As a kid I discovered the Sweet in 1973 and 48 years later they drop this awesome track, mind blown... Outstanding!

This song litterally blows me away. It is fantastic brilliant. Sincere congratulations !
Andy Scott is a talented musician since the late sixties. A true living legend. The original line up of Sweet existed till 1979 when their blond hair leadsinger Brian lwentnhis own ways. Andy, Steve and Mick continued making great - but underrated - records ( clearly underrated) till the early 80’s. After a short solo intermezzo of Andy ( Krugerrand), Andy reformed the band in 1985. Steve decided at the last moment to stay in the US and so only Mick and Andy hit the road again. Mick Tucker became ill a couple of years later and left the band ( and unfortunatly passed away as well)
Andy now being in charge. Band members staying sometimes shorter or longer, only drummer Bruce Bisland has more than 30 years on the record Sweet. Bruce did some gigs for The Sweet as a stand-in during 1991 before joining the band proper for the ʻAʼ Tour in 1992. Great drummer !
Sweet always enjoyed a great popularity in Germany. Some German influence was noticed via Michael Mann for the record A, where a difference was felt as this 1992 album brought lots of powerfull new songs such as “Is it true”, “Natural”, “Mind” . Powerfull new material, showing how the band evolved into new heights. Enjoyable music.
10 years later, the “Sweetlife” CD was released, which sounded as the farewell record of Andy and co listening to songds I’ll do it all over again. The song “Everything” comes originally from this “Sweetlife”album of 2002. I remember I loved this song a lot, but there was however something wrong with the tone ( a bit false).
Now, 20 years later, Andy has again a highly talented team of artists around him with the current lineup of Sweet. Working often from his homestudio at his Cannings Cross Barn in Devizes, Andy started rerecording in Corona times some of the songs the Sweet produced in 1992 and 2002. Isolation Boulevard was the first result of this work. Andy proves again to be a perfectionist in these rerecordings.
The song “Everything” which Sweet released today is a clearly better and more powerfull recording than the original of 2002. This song comes with classic sounding vocals on the chorus, simply brilliant.
No more false tunes and so powerfull. Paul Manzi and Lee Small prove to be great singers - the 2021 lineup of The Sweet is a “Grand Cru”
The picture of Andy on the cover is very funny, I like it.He proved once again to be a great artist, and musician. Sincere congratulations. I just hope that Andy and his band Sweet will perform live again and bringing these re recorded songs live in Europe. They resume touring in the UK this fall, hopefully we get to hear Everything 2021 also in Europe.

Also congrats to drummer Bruce Bisland, who’s since more than 30 years with the band, hereby Sweet’s longest serving drummer. I once had the opportunity to drink a beer with him after a gig, he’s a great bloke. Great team.
I hope this “Everything 2021” single will be released on CD - eventually in a long version. That would be super cool.

Andy and mick hit the road again in 1985 ( not early 90s) and mick left in 1990 but did not pass away till 2002 (not early 90s), so i dont know were your getting your information from?

The Sweet was my first concert in 78 with Eddie Money and Alice Cooper , needless to say Sweet blew them away Love is Like Oxygen was just released but i loved them when i was in Elementary, Fox on the Run was big all the Girls had shirts printed with that on it , so glad to see you guys' are still rocking great Song
This is the best line-up since the original line-up.
It sounds so organic, like this line-up has been playing together for decades. The only downside is that it makes you want even more songs and maybe a whole album of new songs.
It's got that tight harmony sound you expect from SWEET, Great NEW song guys.Yes Brian, Steve and Mick would have loved to be singing along.
