Dollar tree usually has 5 pack of ramen for $1.25 and their teabags are good with a good price if you're looking to get a good deal for stocking up

I like to stock up for the winter as well. I like to know that I have things in my pantry, etc and I don't HAVE to go out and get a lot of things. Seems like you found some great deals!

I have been trying to eat down my stock too but it would panic me to see my freezer that empty. Lol
I wasn’t panicking, but I knew it was time to start stocking up
It's odd seeing how empty your fridge and freezer is. Knowing you are one of the Queens of stretch anything I'm not to worried but girl........ with prices these days I would not recommend skipping a stock up at all or in the foreseeable future. I think its going to take lots of dedicated frugal shopping just to keep the family fed. I already know families who are eating meatless meals several times a week now because of the price of meat and it's only going to get higher. Praying for your answer to moving to be a yes and soon for your peace of mind! Love you guys!!

@@TheBealles It's an app for your phone. You can search for grocery items in stores near you that are discounted around 50% off because they are nearing expiration dates. I just found it a week ago and filled my almost empty freezer with ground turkey, ground chicken, pork chops, etc. My store also had salads and fresh fruits, but I didn't get those this time. I did get a cashew yogurt and some seasoning packets though. It's worth looking into. FlashFood is the name of the app for your phone. The idea of it is to try to keep almost expiring items from going to waste in dumps.
What is a chicken box?
Our discount store sells 40 pound boxes of chicken at discounted prices. They are not packaged individually, so you have to do it at home. Maybe you will see one on next weeks video… Hint, hint.🙃😉

Why did Rick veto the chicken box?
He gets stressed over the mess. Having to package raw chicken at home is a dirty job. It takes preparation and thoughtful clean-up. I can handle it, but the thought stresses him out 😉

Nah. It’s not like we couldn’t go get some if we had to. I was never scared, but I am practical enough to see the risk in letting it get down to nothing. That’s why I switched gears.

😂 You must just be joining me 😂 I am a BIG TIME stocker. But I’m also cheap and I don’t like to waste things. We’re looking at a 13 Hour Dr. to move so I knew I couldn’t take everything from the freezer with me so I thought I would eat it down but now it’s gone too far.😂
