So my husband and I went to that store last weekend! Could NOT believe the deals! We got around 40lbs of meat, a ton of bread, in date canned goods etc for just under $100. Seriously would have cost at least $300 from Walmart and even Aldi! My husband is *extremely * frugal and has decided that it’s worth the gas money to go once a month.😂
Expiration dates are not written in stone. They are generally for freshness, not food poisoning. You’ll be fine eating those a year from now. They might be on the stale side, but they won’t make you sick.
You should just buy that coffee by the case. I can tell the difference between grass fed meat verse the cheap stuff. I like to get my organic chicken/beef from Whole foods. It cost way more but it taste a heck of alot better. Snag that deal why you can. The date is "best by" does not mean spoiled. I am with you.
Such good prices. Grass fed is organic really good says grass fed and grass finished. In case they feed the animals right before but hopefully organic feed. Regular meat is typically feed GMO corn makes everyone sick in the gut cancer etc.b
@@TheBealles The almond joy I found that was in our car for three weeks tasted good. I think the cold freezing weather helped it stay good it was expired December.
I've been guilty of eating all the chocolate chips myself ... Next time we are there you're going to have to show Chris your Goodwill Outlet lol. And YOU KNOW half of our pantry is out of date crap from the Amish store. ...
When u have the family over for hot dogs, you can use whole carrots for the vegan. Best before is a guarantee rather than a safety on a use by like on meat, dairy etc.
Tre brings his own vegan dogs. He has a favorite brand. He definitely would not want just a carrot 😂 Most vegans I know eat pretty normally. There are good substitutes out there
@@TheBealles there is a vegan channel with hope and Larry who uses cooked whole carrots as hot dogs. I have lost the channel name as struggling with sleep etc and dealing with insulin shots. Just exhausted etc.
@@TheBealles not when we are paying $3.99/gal for diesel fuel. My husband has a doctors appointment 15 minutes from the store once a month so that is when we go.
If we can. We are so swamped with full time work, part time work, full time college and keeping up with the house. We want to do it when we can commit to it
The beef was definitely my favorite deal!

That’s awesome! Glad you found some good deals!
Yes, please make a video on dehydrating pineapple!
I know envy is wrong, but I’m always a little jealous of what you get at your discount store!
Aw 🥰I wish everyone had one. I’ll make that video soon!
I found some chuck roast at a grocery store for $4.99 a pound. It was regularly $9.99 a pound. I snapped up two big roasts. I went in for one thing.😂
That’s how it happens but it’s so worth it!

We usually stock up but we just haven’t recently 😂 Whole Foods is an hour from here, so I never go there.
@@TheBealles If you can get that same grass fed at the discount store I would stock up as well. You can tell the difference for sure.
Some say grass fed grass finished. Some fatten them up at the end with feed . But hopefully not if organic.

Definitely an good find!
You did a great job!!!🎉
Thank you 😊
Good haul! I grew up in the Midwest and on grass-fed beef/chicken. There is a difference.
There definitely is!
Shoot we bought out of date chips and my teens ate em up. Won't kill ya. Lol
😂 Chips are a risk. Rancid oil is awful
Awesome deals! I can't wait to see your video on dehydrating pineapple.
Thanks 😊
So glad you share❤
Thank you 😊
Those were good deals, the things like hostesses are good one or two months after date. We get those or like at our pantries.
They tasted good to me 😊

You got a lot of food for that price!❣️
I thought it turned out well 😊
Great job. Well done.
Thank you 😊

I got an air fryer for CHRISTMAS
From my son, it dehydrates too. Thanks
That’s awesome! It’s on my list!
Great haul 😊

I wish our discount store was closer so I could shop there weekly but it is a 45 minute drive for us.
It’s so worth it tho!

@@desertfamilyhomestead3127 good planning! I could always make it worthwhile 😂
Are you still planning on doing bible studies in the future?

I completely understand. I can watch some from before that you did.
I think they cut the tops off so you can't plant it and try to grow it.
Maybe, but my husband has worked in produce for almost 30 years, and he says that they cut it off when it starts to mold
new type of pineapple they cut tops so you can not plant them and grow some yourself
Rick said they were probably starting to mold. He’s done produce for almost 30 years. He knows all the tricks
