- Things have gotten OUT of control! You won't believe how much I spent last month on food! There's lots of reasons, but one is, I needed to stock up, and we are doing that today! No more excuses. I need to get it together, and you are coming along with me. Come see my biggest grocery haul ever!

What are you planning for your Easter menu?
Idk if I should do the same or change it up this year.
Trying to think of things that can be easily reheated after church (so I don’t spend an hour cooking after church before we do lunch)
So we celebrate Passover, not Easter. It means I always make lamb… usually lamb meatballs. It happens at sundown, so it doesn’t interfere with services.

Wow. What a deal on those chips. I love kettle chips too. They are so good! That was also great deals on the meats. I always get my meats on clearance at food lion! Do you use the shop and earn program at food lion?

It’s ok and don’t worry as you need to eat etc. I guess you will save money by buying groceries and not eating out. It’s amazing what you can save shopping at a discount grocery store. In the UK, I went to home bargains about 2 weeks ago I brought things like waffles, candy etc and saved abit. I need to go back. My numbers are failing and my lows are becoming my highs.
Everyone falls off the wagon sometimes. We just have got to get back on 😊

Do you meal plan anymore? Miss that part of the haul. That would assist in eating out. Good old crock pot, busy women's best friend. Quick! Use up or hide the chocolate chips.
I wish I could use my crockpot! We work so far away and have such long days that I can’t use it. I mostly pre-cook. I do normally meal plan, but fell off the wagon hard in February when I had the flu. The chocolate chips are a lost cause 😂

I found canned pumpkin at our Aldi today for .69 cents! I have been watching for a deal on pumpkin for months.
That’s great! I have like 9 cans I need to use up. I’ve been wanting to make pumpkin oatmeal bars forever, but I just haven’t had the energy for anything extra 😉

I work in both! My regular job is at a pediatric physical therapy office. I’m working in a school for my final college semester. So I split my time between both

Aldi prices keep raising on stuff some stuff came down but other things are like a buck or more then it used to be. Bummer.
