I am back with another hat tutorial for this cold winter!
It's a very simple and quick pattern but at the same time very cozy!
So let's get started!
I have dk weight yarn (2 strands to make it chunky) and a 5.5 mm hook. You can use different weight yarn and 5.5 mm hook

I think it can fit both, depending on the age. I’m personally making it for a young man around age 21. If your question is regarding size, maybe you should try to get the measurement of the person’s head, or make the brim rows however many rows it takes to get to 18” unstretched. That’s what I did. Hope this helps.

How long in inches approximately was the top of the hat before you sewed it up?
Dear i followed this the same size for the brim. I made total of 54rows however the measurement shows as 14.5. Urs is 18inches. May i know why?
It could be the tension and the yarn and hook size... but you can do more rows to make it bigger. Thanks

Make sure you have same number of stitches in every round, 🤔
Mine isnt 54 rows, its around 42
but the length is longer than 18 inches

Could be the tension, but it doesn't matter if it fits. Also could be the yarn and hook size. For whoever you making, try to measure against their head, so you wont make a mistake. Hope it works
@@simplycreativecrochetmore4316 Unfortunately, i cant measure against their head cause its a surprise for a friend c: Im using dk yarn but without using two layers/yarn threads(?) of it, so maybe thats why?
i decided to unwind a few rows so that even if its a bit small, it'll stretch out eventually

My hat brim is alomost 22inch long so how many number of stiches should i do in each row? Please help as soon as possible!
You should do roughly 1 st for each round of sc and few sts of increase (like 6 or 7 sts)

If you are using 2 color, you will need 150 grams (100 grams blue and 50 grams grey)
