This month's classic car, motorcycle and memorabilia auction is set to feature 900 lots, including 300-400 cars and motorbikes ranging from Land Rover, Ford and Mercedes to Jaguar, Aston Martin and Mini.

One important point is Mathewsons auctions have a larger inventory than most others, therefore a 75% result in volume terms will probably exceed other houses who claim greater % results.

Always interesting to get the honest thoughts and opinions of Dave, Paul & Jack. I've never had cars at an age where they'd have benefitted from their expertise. Had some decent cars XR2, RS Turbo but always part exchanged with main dealers back in the day. Like so many other owners, wish I'd kept them, but there you go.

A friend of mine bought a Vauxhall Omega estate from you on the Wednesday auction and collected it on Wednesday. He’s made up with the car and the auction experience.
I’ll be at the live auction weekend coming up using my Landrover to promote the British Rally Marshals club in the rally car show there. I’m really looking forward to it.
Thing is most auctions (BCA for example) Billy us throw P the cars away. Mathewsons are great to deal with honest, fair and have BOTH clients interest at heart.

Think Mathewsons do a great job if not sometimes there prices are slightly higher inflated at times compared to other auction houses but on the whole a decent company to deal with. I have followed Manor Park classic car auction for a while now and found them very good.

Good thing with Mathewsons auction you get to put a reserve on memorabilia where in other auctions you don’t and has a seller you need to be reasonable but have that back up or you could get hurt in the pocket.

Interesting - I bought a ‘nice’ car in the July auction. Collected it and it broke down 22 miles from Mathewsons. Now facing a big bill to get the fault fixed and there may be more faults.. I could have been incredibly unlucky and the breakdown was entirely coincidental… could have been!

I had dave bid up on lot 561 to £1100, said I'm out it you at home little did he know I carried in bidding and won the celica, only reason I put a bid on was I thought I was working
Are you being Greedy taking on too many lots which will reduce the price by having several of the same lots. Please consider Quality rather than Quantity.
